1. Introducció

The JK Audio BlueDriver-M3 is a wireless audio interface designed to connect Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones to professional audio equipment. This device facilitates patching or recording phone calls directly into a mixer, making it ideal for broadcast, podcasting, and other on-air applications.

2. Configuració

2.1 Càrrega de la bateria

The BlueDriver-M3 contains an internal rechargeable Li-ion battery. Before initial use, fully charge the device.

1. Locate the micro-USB port on the side of the BlueDriver-M3.
2. Connect a standard micro-USB cable (not included) to the port.

2.2 Connecting to a Mixer

The BlueDriver-M3 connects to your mixing console via a standard XLR connection.

1. Ensure your mixer's input is set to receive a microphone-level signal.
2. Plug the male XLR connector of the BlueDriver-M3 into a female XLR input on your mixing console.

2.3 Connecting to a Cell Phone (Bluetooth Pairing)

The BlueDriver-M3 uses Bluetooth to connect to your mobile device.

1. Turn on the BlueDriver-M3 by pressing and holding the 'Connect' button until the LED indicator flashes.
2. On your cell phone, navigate to the Bluetooth settings menu.

4. Select "BlueDriver-M3" from the list of found devices to pair.
5. Once paired, the LED indicator on the BlueDriver-M3 will change (refer to Section 3.3).

2.4 Using the 3.5mm Send Jack

The 3.5mm "Send" jack allows you to transmit audio from your mixer's headphone output back to your cell phone or headset.

1. Connect one end of the provided 3.5mm Y-cable (or a standard 3.5mm stereo cable) to the "Send" jack on the BlueDriver-M3.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to the headphone output of your mixing console.
3. Adjust the headphone output level on your mixer to an appropriate level.

3. Instruccions de funcionament

3.1 Mode Selection (Phone/Headset)

The BlueDriver-M3 features a switch to select between "Phone" and "Headset" modes.

• Mode de telèfon: Optimized for connecting to a mobile phone for call patching/recording.
• Mode d'auriculars: Use this mode when connecting to a Bluetooth headset for general audio.

Ensure the switch is in the correct position for your intended use.

3.2 Fer i rebre trucades

Once paired and connected to your mixer:

• Fer una trucada: Dial the number on your paired cell phone. The audio will be routed through the BlueDriver-M3 to your mixer.
• Recepció d'una trucada: When a call comes in, answer it on your paired cell phone. The call audio will be routed through the BlueDriver-M3.
• Finalització d'una trucada: End the call on your paired cell phone.

Adjust input and output levels on your mixer as needed for optimal audio quality.

The LED indicator provides information on the device's status:

• Blau intermitent: Mode de vinculació Bluetooth.

• Vermell sòlid: Carregant.
• LED Off (while charging): Totalment carregat.

4. Manteniment

4.1 Cura de la bateria

To prolong battery life, avoid completely discharging the battery frequently. Recharge the unit when the low battery indicator (flashing red LED) appears. Store the unit in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.

4.2 Neteja

Wipe the exterior of the BlueDriver-M3 with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.

• No Audio Output from BlueDriver-M3:
  • Ensure the BlueDriver-M3 is powered on and paired with your phone.
  • Verify the XLR connection to the mixer is secure.
  • Check the input gain on your mixer.
  • Confirm the phone's volume is up and audio is routed to the Bluetooth device.

  • Ensure the BlueDriver-M3 is in pairing mode (flashing blue LED).

  • Move the BlueDriver-M3 closer to your phone (within 50 feet / 15 meters).
