2.2 Mounting the Alarm Unit

1. Select a suitable location near the sump pit, pump basin, or holding tank. The location should be dry, easily accessible, and within reach of a 115V power outlet.
2. Use appropriate fasteners to securely mount the alarm unit to a wall. The unit is designed for wall mounting.

2.3 Installing the Reed Sensor

1. Position the 15-foot reed sensor float switch inside the sump pit or tank at the desired high-water alarm level. Ensure the float can move freely without obstruction.
2. Secure the sensor cable to prevent it from interfering with pump operation or becoming dislodged.
3. Connect the reed sensor cable to the designated input on the alarm unit. Refer to the labels on the unit for correct connection points.

• To silence an active alarm, press the "Silence" button on the unit. The visual alert may continue until the water level recedes.
• To reset the alarm after the water level has returned to normal, press the "Reset" button.
• To test the alarm functionality, press and hold the "Test" button for approximately 3 seconds. This will simulate a high-water condition and activate the alarm.

3.4 Z-Control App Integration

• Download the Z-Control app from your device's app store.
• Follow the in-app instructions to connect your APak Z-Control alarm system to your Wi-Fi network and configure alert preferences.
• The app allows for remote monitoring and notification management.
