Introducció

This manual provides essential information for the installation, maintenance, and optimal use of your HQRP Air Filter Set. This set includes a True HEPA filter and four Activated Carbon pre-filters, designed to enhance air quality in compatible Winix air purifiers.

The HQRP Air Filter Set is compatible with the following Winix Air Purifier models:

• Winix P300 FresHome
• Winix 5300, 5300-2
• Winix 6300, 6300-2
• Winix 5500
• Winix C535 PlasmaWave Air Purifier units
• Winix 9000, 9500, 5000, 5000B Air Purifiers (as an alternative, see Setup section for important notes)

This filter set provides multi-stage filtration for improved air quality:

• Filtració HEPA real: Captures up to 99.97% of airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns. This includes dust, smoke, pet dander, fabric fibers, and other common allergens.
• Activated Carbon Pre-filters: Designed to reduce common household odors from pets, cooking, and smoke. These pre-filters also trap larger particles like lint, pet hair, and fine dust, extending the lifespan of the True HEPA filter.

Configuració i instal·lació

Follow these steps to install your new HQRP Air Filter Set:

1. Apagar: Ensure your Winix air purifier is unplugged from the power outlet before beginning installation.
2. Accés al compartiment del filtre: Open the front cover or access panel of your air purifier according to your specific Winix model's instructions.
3. Elimina els filtres antics: Carefully remove the used HEPA filter and carbon pre-filters. Dispose of them properly.
4. Important Note for Winix 9000, 9500, 5000, 5000B: If you are replacing filters in these models, you must first remove the complete original cartridge that came with your air purifier. The HQRP filter is designed to be used without the original plastic frame.
5. Install Carbon Pre-filters: Place the four Activated Carbon pre-filters into their designated slots or attach them to the True HEPA filter, depending on your air purifier's design.
6. Install True HEPA Filter: Insert the True HEPA filter into the air purifier. Ensure the "AIR FLOW" arrow (if present on the filter) points in the direction of the air flow as indicated by your air purifier's manual.

7. Compartiment tancat: Tanqueu bé la tapa del compartiment del filtre.
8. Restaura l'alimentació: Torna a connectar el purificador d'aire a la presa de corrent.
9. Restableix l'indicador del filtre: If your air purifier has a filter replacement indicator light, consult your air purifier's manual for instructions on how to reset it.

Consideracions de funcionament

Once the new filters are installed, your air purifier will operate as usual. The HQRP filter set works to continuously clean the air by capturing airborne particles and reducing odors. For optimal performance, ensure the air purifier is placed in an area with good air circulation and away from obstructions.

Manteniment

Regular filter replacement is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of your air purifier. Adhere to the following replacement schedule:

• Filtre HEPA veritable: It is recommended to change the True HEPA Filter once every 6-12 months, depending on usage and air quality conditions.
• Activated Carbon Pre-filters: It is recommended to change the Carbon Pre-filters once every 3 months.

You may periodically check the filters for visible dirt and debris. While carbon pre-filters can sometimes be gently vacuumed to remove surface dust, this does not replace the need for timely replacement.
