1. Instruccions de seguretat importants

Read and understand all safety warnings and instructions before operating this generator. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, serious injury, or death.

3. Configuració i preparació inicial

Abans d'engegar el generador per primera vegada, seguiu els passos següents:

3.1 Desembalatge i muntatge

• Traieu amb cura el generador del seu embalatge.
• Attach the wheels and handle if they are not pre-installed, following the diagrams in the separate assembly guide (if provided).
• Assegureu-vos que tots els components estiguin ben fixats.

3.2 Afegir oli de motor

El generador s'envia sense oli de motor. És crucial afegir el tipus i la quantitat correctes d'oli abans del primer ús.

1. Col·loqueu el generador sobre una superfície plana.
2. Locate the oil fill cap/dipstick (typically near the engine base).
3. Traieu la vareta i netegeu-la.
4. Add approximately 0.6 liters of SAE 10W-30 or 10W-40 engine oil. Do not overfill.
5. Reinsert the dipstick without screwing it in, then remove it to check the oil level. The oil should be between the "L" (low) and "H" (high) marks.
6. Securely replace the dipstick.

3.3 Afegir combustible

Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher (Super or Super Plus).

1. Assegureu-vos que el generador estigui apagat i refredat.
2. Move the generator to a well-ventilated outdoor area.
3. Desenrosqueu el tap de combustible.
4. Carefully pour gasoline into the fuel tank, using a funnel to prevent spills. Do not fill above the red indicator in the fuel filter.
5. Torneu a col·locar el tap de combustible de manera segura.
6. Netegeu immediatament qualsevol combustible vessat.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

4.1 Arrencada del motor

Always ensure the generator is on a level surface and in a well-ventilated outdoor area before starting.

1. Ensure the engine switch on the control panel is in the "ON" position.
2. Moveu la vàlvula de combustible a la posició "ON".
3. If the engine is cold, move the choke lever to the "CHOKE" position. If warm, leave it in "RUN".
4. Grasp the starter grip firmly and pull slowly until resistance is felt, then pull quickly and smoothly to start the engine.
5. Un cop el motor s'hagi engegat, moveu lentament la palanca de l'estrangulador a la posició "RUN".
6. Allow the engine to run for a few minutes to warm up before connecting electrical loads.

4.2 Connexió de càrregues elèctriques

Before connecting any devices, ensure they are in good working condition and their power requirements do not exceed the generator's capacity.

• Plug your appliances into the 230V AC outlets or the 12V DC outlet as needed.
• No sobrecarregueu el generador. La potència totaltage of all connected devices must not exceed 2000 Watts continuous or 2200 Watts peak.
• If the generator is overloaded, the circuit breaker will trip. Disconnect some devices and reset the circuit breaker.
• For 12V DC charging, connect the appropriate cables to the 12V terminal.

4.3 Parar el motor

1. Desconnecteu totes les càrregues elèctriques del generador.
2. Deixeu que el motor funcioni durant uns minuts sense càrrega perquè es refredi.
3. Moveu l'interruptor del motor a la posició "OFF".
4. Move the fuel valve to the "OFF" position for storage.

5. Manteniment

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your generator. Always perform maintenance with the engine off and cool.

5.1 Canvi d'oli del motor

Change the engine oil after the first 20 hours of operation, then every 50-100 hours or annually.

1. Deixeu engegar el motor durant uns minuts per escalfar l'oli i després apagueu-lo.
2. Col·loqueu una safata de drenatge sota el tap de drenatge de l'oli.
3. Traieu el tap de drenatge d'oli i el tap/vareta de nivell d'oli per permetre que l'oli s'escorri completament.
4. Reinstall the drain plug and refill with new, recommended engine oil (SAE 10W-30 or 10W-40) to the correct level.

5.2 Neteja del filtre d'aire

Inspeccioneu el filtre d'aire cada 50 hores o amb més freqüència en condicions de molta pols. Netegeu-lo o substituïu-lo segons calgui.

1. Traieu la coberta del filtre d'aire.
2. Traieu l'element del filtre d'escuma.
3. Renteu l'element d'escuma amb aigua tèbia i sabó, esbandiu-lo bé i deixeu-lo assecar completament a l'aire.
4. Unteu lleugerament l'element d'escuma amb oli de motor i espremeu l'excés.
5. Reinstall the filter element and cover.

5.3 Inspecció de la bugia

Inspeccioneu la bugia cada 100 hores o anualment. Netegeu-la o substituïu-la si cal.

• Traieu la tapa de la bugia i després la bugia amb una clau de bugia.
• Check for carbon deposits and electrode wear. Clean with a wire brush if needed.
• Adjust the gap to the specified setting (refer to engine specifications).
• Torneu a instal·lar la bugia i la tapa.

5.4 Emmagatzematge

For long-term storage (over 30 days), prepare the generator as follows:

• Buideu el dipòsit de combustible i el carburador o afegiu un estabilitzador de combustible.
