4. Guia de configuració

Follow these steps to set up your ORICO 4 Bay External Hard Drive Docking Station:

  1. Connectar l'alimentació: Plug the 12V power adapter into the DC port on the back of the docking station and then into a power outlet. Ensure the power switch on the front is in the OFF position initially.

  4. Connexió al PC: Connect one end of the provided USB 3.0 Type-A data cable to the USB 3.0 port on the docking station and the other end to an available USB 3.0 port on your computer.

  8. Encès: Press the power button on the front of the docking station. The LED indicators for each drive bay should illuminate, indicating power.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

5.1. PC Mode (Data Transfer)

In PC mode, the docking station functions as an external drive enclosure, allowing you to access and transfer data to and from the inserted hard drives via your computer's USB 3.0 port. Ensure the "Clone/PC" switch on the back is set to "PC".

5.2. Offline Clone Function

The docking station features a standalone clone function, allowing you to duplicate hard drives without connecting to a computer. This is ideal for creating backups or migrating data.

  5. Comença la clonació: Press and hold the "Start" button on the back of the docking station for approximately 3-5 seconds until the cloning process begins. The LED indicators will show the cloning progress (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%).
  6. Finalització: Once all LEDs are solid, the cloning process is complete. You can then power off the device and remove the drives.

Important: All data on the target drive(s) will be erased during the cloning process. Back up any important data on target drives before proceeding.
