This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of the EASYGUARD EC009-T2 PKE Car Alarm System. This system integrates Passive Keyless Entry (PKE), remote engine start/stop, push button start, and a vibration alarm function. It is designed for use with most DC12V petrol vehicles. For diesel vehicles with engine starting times exceeding 3 seconds, it is recommended to pre-warm the spark plug by turning on the dashboard first, or to install an additional timer delay switch.
Nota important: Professional car alarm installer installation is highly recommended. Installation service is not provided by EASYGUARD. A wiring diagram is available upon request. It is necessary to unlock, release, or remove the steering lock during the installation of this system. An extra bypass module (e.g., ASIN: B00MEHBVIC) is required if your vehicle's factory OEM key fob contains a chip immobilizer.

Configuració i instal·lació
Installation of the EASYGUARD EC009-T2 system requires technical expertise and should ideally be performed by a professional car alarm installer. Incorrect installation can lead to vehicle damage or system malfunction.

Electrical System Compatibility:
- The system is compatible with 95% of DC12V petrol vehicles.
- For diesel vehicles with engine starting times exceeding 3 seconds, it is recommended to turn on the ON dashboard first to pre-warm the spark plug before starting the car, or to add an extra timer delay switch.
- The system's default door locking is electrical. Pneumatic locking is optional.
Nota: This item is not compatible with cars that use a double pulse for unlock, pneumatic or vacuum locking systems, or cars with a factory-installed push start button.
Instruccions de funcionament
Passive Keyless Entry (PKE):
- Desbloqueig automàtic: With the key fob in your possession, approach the vehicle. The doors will automatically unlock when you are within 1-2 meters (approximately 3-6 feet) of the car.
- Bloqueig automàtic: With the key fob in your possession, walk away from the vehicle. The doors will automatically lock when you are 1-2 meters (approximately 6-9 feet) away from the car.
- PKE On/Off Setting: Refer to the detailed wiring diagram or consult a professional installer for instructions on how to enable or disable the PKE function.

- To remotely start the engine, press and hold the designated start button on the key fob. The vehicle's engine will start, allowing for pre-conditioning of the cabin.
- To remotely stop the engine, press the same button again.
Botó d'inici:
- To Start Engine: With the key fob inside the vehicle, press the brake pedal and then press the "ENGINE START STOP" button.
- To Stop Engine: With the vehicle stationary, press the brake pedal and then press the "ENGINE START STOP" button.
- Mode ACC/ON: Without pressing the brake pedal, press the "ENGINE START STOP" button once for ACC mode, and a second time for ON mode (ignition on). Press a third time to turn off.

Manteniment
Key Fob Battery Replacement:
The key fobs are powered by CR2 batteries. When the battery is low, the system siren may chirp 3 times after disarming. To replace the battery:
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the key fob.
- Carefully open the compartment using a small tool if necessary.
