  • SMA Left Port (WSUB1G): Input for lower frequency range antennas (e.g., 240-960 MHz).

4. Configuració

Before first use, fully charge the internal Lithium Ion battery. Connect the supplied USB cable to the Mini-USB 2.0 port on the device and to a standard USB power adapter or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator (if present) will show the charging status.

4.2 Connectar antenes

Select the appropriate antenna for the frequency range you intend to measure. Screw the antenna securely onto the corresponding SMA port (Left for WSUB1G, Right for WSUB3G). Ensure a firm connection to prevent signal loss.

4.3 Engegada/apagada

To power on the device, slide the Internal Battery Power Switch to the 'ON' position. To power off, slide the switch to 'OFF'.

  • Mitjana: Calculates the average signal level over multiple sweeps, useful for stable readings in noisy environments.

Select the desired mode from the menu to suit your measurement needs.

5.3 Frequency and Span Adjustment

From the main measurement screen, use the arrow keys or menu options to adjust the center frequency and frequency span. This allows you to focus on specific frequency bands of interest, such as 2.4 GHz for Wi-Fi or various cellular bands.

5.4 PC Client Software

The SPA-3G can be connected to a PC running Windows XP/Vista/Win7 (both 32 and 64-bit) for enhanced functionality and data visualization. Install the RF Explorer PC client software (available from the manufacturer's website) and connect the device via the USB cable. The software provides advanced analysis features, including real-time data display, waterfall plots, and data logging.

6. Manteniment

6.1 Cura de la bateria

To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the device frequently. Recharge the battery when the low battery indicator appears. If storing the device for an extended period, ensure the battery is charged to approximately 50% and store in a cool, dry place.

Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the casing or screen. Keep the SMA connectors free from dust and debris.
