This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the installation and operation of your MPC Factory Remote Activated Remote Start Kit. This kit is designed to add remote start functionality to your 2008-2012 Ford Escape with a key-to-start ignition, utilizing your existing factory key fobs.

The system includes an all-in-one remote starter data interface module and a T-Harness, with firmware preloaded specifically for your vehicle. All necessary components for installation are included in the kit.

Vehicle Compatibility and Requirements

Before proceeding with installation, ensure your vehicle meets the following criteria:

Instruccions de funcionament

This remote start system integrates seamlessly with your vehicle's existing factory key fobs. No additional remotes are required.

To Remote Start Your Vehicle:

• Premeu el botó BLOC button on your factory key fob three (3) times consecutively.
• Ensure the presses are within approximately 1-2 seconds of each other.
• The vehicle's engine will start, and the parking lights will illuminate to indicate successful remote start.

Once the vehicle is running via remote start, you can enter the vehicle, insert your key into the ignition, turn it to the "ON" or "RUN" position, and then press the brake pedal to take over control. The engine will remain running.

This feature allows you to warm up or cool down your vehicle from a distance, enhancing comfort in various weather conditions.

Manteniment

The MPC remote start system is designed for reliable, long-term operation with minimal maintenance. Keep the module and wiring connections free from moisture and extreme temperatures. Periodically check all connections to ensure they remain secure.

No user-serviceable parts are inside the remote start module. Any issues requiring internal inspection or repair should be handled by qualified technicians.

• Primer any: For warranty issues within the first year of purchase, you can contact MPC directly. The product must be returned at the customer's expense for warranty service.
• After First Year: After the first year, warranty issues must be handled directly through the manufacturer. The manufacturer will require a receipt from the original purchase.

The product is warranted to the original purchaser, when properly installed and under normal conditions of use, to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one year from the provided date of purchase. This warranty does not cover abuse, operation inconsistent with the product's design, or damage from exposure to elements. If a defect is considered "under warranty," MyPushcart (MPC) will, at its option, repair or replace the product free of charge. MyPushcart is not liable for installation charges, loss, or damage incurred in the replacement or repair of any warranted product.
