Configuració

Attaching the Adapter to the Camera Body

1. Assegureu-vos que la càmera estigui apagada.
2. Align the red dot on the adapter with the red dot on your Canon EOS camera body mount.
3. Insert the adapter into the camera mount and rotate it clockwise until it clicks into place.

Attaching a C-Mount Lens to the Adapter

1. Align the C-Mount lens threads with the adapter's C-Mount threads.
2. Carefully screw the lens into the adapter until it is finger-tight.

This is a manual adapter. Lens functions that rely on electronic communication with the camera body (such as autofocus, AE metering, and image stabilization) will not function.

Focusing and Exposure

• Enfocament manual: Focus must be adjusted manually on the lens.

Gen10 Focus Confirmation Chip

The integrated Generation v10 Focus Confirmation Chip "tricks" the Canon EOS camera body into recognizing an EF-compatible lens. This enables the camera's visual (green dot in viewfinder) and audible focus confirmation indicators to function, assisting with manual focusing.

Nota: The chip provides focus confirmation, but does not enable autofocus or electronic aperture control.

Consideracions importants

• No Infinity Focus: This adapter does not allow for infinity focus. It is designed for macro and close-focus applications only.
• Vinyetatge: Due to the image circle of C-Mount lenses, significant vignetting may occur, especially on full-frame camera bodies.
• "Focus-By-Wire" Lenses: Lenses that require power to engage their manual focus rings (e.g., Canon STM or Nikon AF-P lenses) will not be able to focus when used with this manual adapter, as the adapter does not provide power.

Some Canon EOS cameras may display an "Error Lens Not Attached - Check lens" message when a manual adapter is used.
