1. Salvaguardes importants

3. Instruccions de configuració

3.1 Desembalatge

• Carefully remove all packaging materials and the coffee maker from the box.

3.2 Neteja inicial

• Before first use, wash the carafes, lids, and reusable filters in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.

• Run two full cycles of plain water through the coffee maker without coffee grounds to clean the internal components.

3.3 Col·locació

• Ensure there is adequate clearance above the unit for the lid to open fully.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

4.1 Omplir el dipòsit d'aigua

1. Obriu la tapa del dipòsit d'aigua.
2. Fill the carafe with the desired amount of fresh, cold water. Refer to the water level markings on the carafe.
3. Pour the water into the corresponding water reservoir. The water level indicator on the side of the unit will show the amount of water added. Do not exceed the 'MAX' fill line.

4.2 Adding Coffee Grounds

1. Press the button to release the spring-out coffee filter basket.
2. Place a reusable filter (included) or a #6 cone-style paper filter into the filter basket.
3. Add the desired amount of ground coffee into the filter. A general guideline is one scoop (provided) per cup of coffee, adjusting to taste.
4. Close the filter basket securely until it clicks into place.

4.3 Elaboració de cafè

1. Ensure the empty carafe is placed correctly on the warming plate beneath the filter basket.
2. Press the power switch for the desired side (left or right) to begin brewing. The indicator light will illuminate.
3. The brewing process will begin. Water will heat and drip through the coffee grounds into the carafe.
4. Once brewing is complete, the warming plate will keep the coffee hot.
5. To stop brewing or turn off the warming plate, press the power switch again.

Nota: The heating elements can be controlled individually, allowing you to brew one pot or two different types of coffee (e.g., regular and decaf) simultaneously.

5. Manteniment i Neteja

5.1 Neteja diària

• Desconnecteu sempre la cafetera abans de netejar-la.
• Remove the carafe, lid, and reusable filter. Wash these parts in warm, soapy water.
• Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker, including the warming plates, with a damp tela. No utilitzeu netejadors abrasius ni fregalls.

5.2 Descalcificació

Mineral deposits from water can build up in your coffee maker over time, affecting performance. Descale your coffee maker regularly (e.g., monthly or every 40-80 uses, depending on water hardness).

1. Fill each water reservoir with white vinegar up to the 12-cup mark.
2. Place empty carafes on the warming plates.
3. Turn on both brewing cycles and allow half of the vinegar solution to brew through.
4. Turn off the coffee maker and let it sit for at least 15 minutes to allow the vinegar to work.
5. Turn the coffee maker back on and allow the remaining vinegar solution to brew through.
6. Empty the carafes and rinse them thoroughly.
7. Run two full cycles of fresh, clean water through the coffee maker to remove any residual vinegar taste.
