1. Introducció

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your ALITOVE WS2811 Addressable LED Strip Light. This product features individually controllable RGB LEDs, offering dynamic and static lighting effects for various applications. 3. Característiques

• Tira de LED direccionable WS2811: 5 meters long with 150 pcs 5050 RGB LEDs and 50 pcs WS2811 ICs. Each group of 3 LEDs with 1 IC can be controlled individually, allowing for diverse static and dynamic color effects.

2. Tallar la tira (opcional): If a shorter length is needed, cut the strip only along the designated cutting lines (marked with a scissor icon or copper pads). Ensure power is disconnected before cutting.
3. Prepara la superfície: Clean and dry the mounting surface thoroughly. The surface should be smooth and non-porous for optimal adhesion.
4. Muntatge: Peel off the backing from the 3M VHB heavy-duty foam mounting tape and firmly press the LED strip onto the prepared surface. Apply even pressure along the entire length.
5. Connectar al controlador: Connect the 3-pin JST-SM connector of the LED strip to your compatible controller. Ensure correct polarity (V+, Data, GND).
6. Connecteu la font d'alimentació: Connect a 12V DC power supply (not included) to your controller and/or directly to the LED strip via the power injection wires if necessary.

8. Manteniment

8.1 Neteja

To clean the LED strip, gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, ensuring no water enters the connectors or exposed cut sections. Always ensure the strip is powered off and disconnected before cleaning.

8.2 Impermeabilització

The IP65 rating means the strip is protected against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction. It is suitable for outdoor applications where it may be exposed to rain or splashes. However, it is not designed for prolonged submersion in water. If you cut the strip, ensure to properly seal the exposed ends with silicone sealant or waterproof caps to maintain its IP65 rating.

  • Confirm that the controller's software or settings match the WS2811 protocol and the correct color order (e.g., RGB, GRB, BRG). Some WS2811 strips may use a BRG order instead of the standard RGB.

  • Apply firm, even pressure along the entire length of the strip during installation.
