1. Introducció

4. Configuració
4.1 Connexió física
- Connecteu el cable de xarxa: Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the LAN port on the DS-600-US and the other end to your network router or switch.

5. Operating the Device Server
5.1 Connexió a dispositius USB

- Select Device Server: The software will display a list of available Silex device servers on your network. Select your DS-600-US.
- Connecta el dispositiu USB: The software will show the USB devices connected to the DS-600-US. Select the desired USB device and click the 'Connect' button. The device will now appear as if it is directly connected to your computer.
5.2 Disconnecting USB Devices
To disconnect a USB device from your computer and make it available to other users or for safe removal:
- In the SX Virtual Link software, select the connected USB device.
- Click the 'Disconnect' button.
Nota: Always disconnect USB storage devices safely through your operating system before disconnecting them via SX Virtual Link to prevent data loss.
6. Manteniment

7.1 Device Server Not Detected
- Ensure the DS-600-US is powered on and the power LED is illuminated.
- Verify the Ethernet cable is securely connected to both the device server and your network router/switch.
- Check your network settings to ensure your computer is on the same network segment as the device server.
- Temporarily disable any firewall software on your computer to see if it is blocking communication.
7.2 USB Device Not Connecting
- Ensure the USB device is properly plugged into the DS-600-US.
- Verify that the USB device is powered on, if it requires external power.
- Try connecting a different USB device to confirm the port on the DS-600-US is functional.
- Restart the SX Virtual Link software and try again.
- Restart the DS-600-US by unplugging and re-plugging the power adapter.
