3. Configuració i instal·lació
Important: Professional car alarm installer installation is required for this product. Incorrect installation may lead to malfunction or damage to your vehicle.
Before installation, ensure your vehicle is a DC12V petrol car. This system is not compatible with cars having a factory OEM push start button, pneumatic locks, or double unlock pulse signals. An extra bypass module (e.g., ASIN: B07NSLPBG7 or B00MEHBVIC) is required if your factory OEM key fob contains a chip immobilizer.
If your vehicle has a steering wheel lock, it must be unlocked, released, or removed during installation.
3.1 PKE Antenna Installation
Proper placement of the PKE antennas is crucial for optimal passive keyless entry functionality. The front PKE antenna is typically installed near the windshield, and the rear antenna near the rear window or trunk area.

4. Instruccions de funcionament
4.1 Key Fob Functions
The system comes with two key fobs. Each key fob has multiple buttons for various functions:

- Arm/Lock Button: Press once to arm the alarm and lock the doors.
- Start Button/Panic Mode:
- Short press: Activates the start function (when inside the car with foot on brake).
- Long press: Activates panic mode (alarm sounds).
- Disarm/Trunk Release Button:
- Short press: Disarms the alarm and unlocks the doors.
- Long press: Activates remote trunk release (if connected).
4.2 Passive Keyless Entry (PKE)
With the PKE feature enabled, the system automatically locks or unlocks your car doors when you are within a certain proximity to the vehicle while carrying the key fob.
- Desbloqueig automàtic: When you approach the car within 1-2 meters with the key fob, the doors will automatically unlock.
- Bloqueig automàtic: When you walk away from the car, approximately 2-3 meters, the doors will automatically lock.

4.3 Push Button Start/Stop
The push button allows for convenient engine start and stop without needing to insert a key.

To Start the Car:
- Mètode 1: In disarmed status, step on the foot brake pedal and short press the push start button once.
- Mètode 2: In disarmed status, keep pressing the start button for 3 seconds while stepping on the foot brake pedal.
To Shut Off the Car:
- Once the car is started, step on the foot brake pedal and short press the push start button once.

4.4 Arrencada del motor a distància
The remote engine start function allows you to start your car from a distance, useful for pre-cooling in summer or pre-warming in winter.
- To activate remote start, press and hold the "Start button/panic mode" button on the key fob for a few seconds.
- To turn off the remotely started engine, press and hold the "Start button/panic mode" button again.

5. Manteniment
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your EASYGUARD EC003-1 system, consider the following maintenance tips:
- Keep key fobs dry and away from extreme temperatures.
- Replace key fob batteries (2 CR2 batteries) as needed to maintain signal strength.
- Periodically check wiring connections for any signs of wear or looseness.
- Avoid exposing the control module to moisture or direct impact.
- For any complex issues or system checks, consult a professional installer.
6. Solució De Problemes
If you encounter issues with your EASYGUARD EC003-1 system, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
