4. Configuració

4.1 Desembalatge i neteja inicial

2. Wash the water tank, portafilter, filters, and drip tray in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.

4.2 Omplir el dipòsit d'aigua

1. Traieu el dipòsit d'aigua de la part posterior de la màquina.
2. Fill the tank with fresh, cold water up to the 'MAX' level indicator. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
3. Torneu a col·locar el dipòsit d'aigua al seu lloc, assegurant-vos que estigui ben col·locat.

4.3 Primer ús / Preparació de la màquina

Before brewing coffee or frothing milk for the first time, or if the machine has not been used for a long period, it is necessary to prime the system:

1. Assegureu-vos que el dipòsit d'aigua estigui ple.
2. Place a cup under the portafilter (without coffee) and another under the steam wand.
3. Plug the machine into a grounded power outlet. The power indicator light will illuminate.

5. Once the coffee indicator light stops flashing and remains steady, press the coffee button to dispense water through the portafilter. Let it run for about 30 seconds.
6. Turn the steam knob to release steam through the steam wand for about 30 seconds.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

5.1 Elaboració d'espresso

1. Ensure the water tank is filled and the machine is plugged in.
2. Press the power button to turn on the machine. Wait for the coffee indicator light to become steady, indicating the machine is heated.
3. Select the appropriate filter (for 1 or 2 cups) and place it into the portafilter.
4. Add finely ground espresso coffee to the filter. For a single shot, use approximately 7g; for a double shot, use approximately 14g. Tamp el cafè uniformement amb aamper (no inclòs).
5. Attach the portafilter to the brewing head by aligning it and twisting firmly to the right until it is secure.

7. Press the coffee button once for a short espresso or twice for a long espresso. The machine will automatically stop when the programmed volume is reached.
8. Once brewing is complete, carefully remove the portafilter (it may be hot) and discard the used coffee grounds.

5.2 Escumar llet per a cappuccino/cafè amb llet

1. Fill a stainless steel pitcher with cold milk (dairy or non-dairy) to about one-third full.
2. Press the steam button on the control panel. Wait for the steam indicator light to become steady.
3. Col·loca la vareta de vapor a la llet, just per sota de la superfície.

5. Once the desired texture and temperature are reached, turn off the steam knob and then press the steam button to deactivate the steam function.

6. Manteniment

6.1 Neteja diària

• Portafiltres i filtres: Després de cada ús, traieu el portafiltre, llenceu els mòlts de cafè i esbandiu el portafiltre i el filtre amb aigua corrent.
• Safata de degoteig: Buideu i netegeu la safata de degoteig regularment per evitar el desbordament i mantenir la higiene.

6.2 Descalcificació

1. Use a commercial descaling solution specifically designed for espresso machines, following the manufacturer's instructions.

5. Run several cycles of water through the portafilter and steam wand until the tank is empty.

7. Run several cycles of fresh water through the machine to flush out any remaining descaling solution.
