   Carefully measure the Dorman 65000 dipstick. Using the measurement obtained from your OE dipstick, mark the new dipstick cable at the point corresponding to the "FULL" mark. You may also mark the "ADD" or "LOW" level if desired, ensuring it aligns with your vehicle's specifications. Ensure the measurement accounts for the handle and stopper assembly.

4. Install Stopper:

   Insert the newly assembled dipstick into the vehicle's dipstick tube. Ensure it seats fully and the handle is flush. Perform an oil change or verify the oil level with a known quantity of oil to confirm the accuracy of your new dipstick's "FULL" mark. Adjust the length if necessary by re-cutting or repositioning the stopper.
