3. Configuració
3.1 Instal·lació de la bateria
The VTech Play Smart Preschool Laptop requires 2 AA batteries. Batteries included are for demo purposes only; new batteries are recommended for regular use.
- Localitza el compartiment de la bateria a la part inferior del portàtil.
- Amb un tornavís, obriu la tapa del compartiment de la bateria.
- Introduïu 2 piles AA noves, assegurant-vos de la polaritat correcta (+/-).
- Substituïu la tapa del compartiment de la bateria i premeu el cargol.
3.2 Initial Power-On and Personalization
After installing batteries, press the Power button (usually located on the keyboard or side) to turn on the laptop. The device will guide you through initial setup, including personalizing it with your child's name, age, and avatar. This feature enhances the interactive experience.
4. Funcionament de l'ordinador portàtil
The Play Smart Preschool Laptop features a 26-letter QWERTY keyboard and 10 number keys, familiarizing children with a standard keyboard layout. Navigation is typically done using the directional pad and the 'Enter' button.
4.1 Activity Categories
The laptop offers 30 activities organized into five main categories:
- Lletres i paraules: Eight activities focusing on letter recognition, letter sounds, spelling, and letter order. Includes a Spanish activity for letters, numbers, and first words.

4.2 Using the Keyboard and Screen
To select an activity, use the directional pad to highlight the desired icon on the screen and press the 'Enter' button. Follow the on-screen prompts and audio instructions for each game. The friendly penguin character will guide your child through the learning process.

5. Manteniment
5.1 Neteja
To clean the laptop, wipe it with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the device is completely dry before use.
5.2 Cura de la bateria
- Traieu les bateries si la unitat no s'utilitzarà durant un període prolongat.
- No barregeu piles velles i noves.
- No barregeu piles alcalines, estàndard (carboni-zinc) o recarregables (níquel-cadmi).
- Elimineu correctament les bateries esgotades.
5.3 Emmagatzematge
Guardeu el portàtil en un lloc fresc i sec, allunyat de la llum solar directa i de temperatures extremes.
