1. Introducció

Thank you for choosing the CHWARES Food Scale. This digital kitchen scale is designed for precise measurements in various applications, from cooking and baking to weighing small items like coffee beans or jewelry. Its compact design, rechargeable battery, and multiple unit options make it a versatile tool for your daily needs. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure proper operation and maintenance.

The CHWARES Food Scale features a durable stainless steel platform and a clear backlit LCD display. It offers high accuracy for measurements up to 3000 grams with 0.1 gram increments. The scale includes essential functions such as tare and unit conversion, supporting 9 different units of measurement.

3. Configuració

1. Desempaquetar la bàscula: Carefully remove the scale, two plastic trays, and USB charging cable from the packaging.
2. Càrrec inicial: The scale is equipped with a rechargeable battery. Before first use, connect the scale to a USB power source using the provided USB cable. The display will indicate charging status.
3. Col·locació: Place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface to ensure accurate readings. Avoid placing it on soft or uneven surfaces, or near strong electromagnetic fields.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

4.1. Encendre/apagar

• Premeu el botó Botó d'encesa () to turn the scale on. The display will show "HELLO" and then "0.0g".
• Manteniu premut el botó Botó d'encesa per apagar la bàscula.

4.2. Conversió d'unitats

• Amb la bàscula posada, premeu el botó Botó de mode () to cycle through the available units: grams (g), ounces (oz), pounds (lb), taels (tl), carats (ct), pennyweights (dwt), grains (gn), milliliters (ml), and milk milliliters (milk ml).
• Seleccioneu la unitat de mesura desitjada.

4.3. Funció de tara

• Place an empty container on the scale platform. The display will show the weight of the container.
• Premeu el botó Botó de tara (). The display will reset to "0.0g" (or the selected unit), effectively subtracting the container's weight.
• Afegiu els articles que voleu pesar al contenidor. La pantalla només mostrarà el pes net dels articles.

4.4. Piece Counting (PCS Function)

• Engegueu la bàscula i assegureu-vos que marqui "0.0".
• Col·loca comample quantity of items (e.g., 25, 50, 75, or 100 pieces) on the scale platform.
• Manteniu premut el botó Botó PCS () until the display shows "PCS" and a number (e.g., "25").
• Premeu el botó Botó de mode per seleccionar el sample quantity that matches the number of items you placed on the scale.
• Premeu el botó Botó PCS again to confirm. The scale is now calibrated for piece counting.
• You can now add more items, and the display will show the total count of pieces.

5. Manteniment i cura

• Neteja: The stainless steel platform is easy to clean. Wipe it with a tissue or a damp cloth. Do not immerse the scale directly in water or rinse it under a tap, as this can damage the internal components.
• Emmagatzematge: The compact size (4.92 x 4.13 x 0.71 inches) allows for easy storage. Use the included plastic trays as protective covers when not in use to keep the scale dry and free from dust.
• Bateria: Recharge the scale when the battery indicator shows low power. Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures.

6. Solució De Problemes

• Lectures inexactes: Ensure the scale is placed on a stable, flat surface. Avoid vibrations or air currents. If the issue persists, try turning the scale off and on again.
• La pantalla no s'encén: Check if the battery needs recharging. Connect the scale to a USB power source.
• "Lo" or Low Battery Indicator: This indicates that the battery is low and needs to be recharged.
• "O-Ld" or Overload Indicator: This means the weight on the scale exceeds its maximum capacity (3000g). Remove items immediately to prevent damage.
