1. Introducció
This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective operation of your SHARP Dehumidifier with Air Purifier, model DW-J20FM-W. This appliance is designed to reduce humidity, purify air using Plasmacluster technology, and assist in drying clothes. Please read this manual thoroughly before use and retain it for future reference.

2. Informació de seguretat
To prevent injury to users or damage to property, always observe the following basic safety precautions:
- Llegiu totes les instruccions abans d'utilitzar l'aparell.

- No bloquegeu les entrades ni sortides d'aire. Mantingueu una distància adequada al voltant de la unitat.

- Desconnecteu sempre la unitat abans de netejar o fer el manteniment.

Components:
The SHARP DW-J20FM-W unit consists of the main body, control panel, air inlet, air outlet, and a removable water tank. The unit also features integrated casters for convenient relocation.

4. Configuració
4.1 Desembalatge
- Traieu amb cura l'aparell del seu embalatge.
- Remove all protective materials, including any plastic wrapping from the filters located inside the unit. Failure to remove filter wrapping will prevent proper operation.
- Check for any visible damage. If damaged, do not operate and contact customer support.
4.2 Col·locació
- Col·loqueu el deshumidificador sobre una superfície ferma i plana a l'habitació desitjada.
- Assegureu-vos que hi hagi almenys 20 cm (8 polzades) d'espai al voltant de l'entrada i la sortida d'aire per a un flux d'aire adequat.
- For effective dehumidification, operate the unit in an enclosed space with doors and windows closed.
- Eviteu col·locar la unitat a prop de fonts de calor o sota la llum solar directa.

4.3 Connexió d'alimentació
Connecteu el cable d'alimentació a una presa de terra que coincideixi amb el voltage requirements of the unit. Do not use extension cords or adapters.
5. Instruccions de funcionament
5.1 Tauler de control
The control panel is located on the top of the unit and features various buttons and indicators for operation.

5.2 Encès/Apagat
Premeu el botó Poder botó per encendre o apagar la unitat.
5.3 Selecció del mode
Premeu el botó Mode botó per anar ciclant pels modes de funcionament disponibles:
- Automàtic: Automatically adjusts dehumidification based on ambient humidity.
- Deshumidificació: Operates to reduce room humidity. Can be set to a target humidity level.
- Bugaderia: Optimized airflow and dehumidification for drying clothes indoors.
- Desodorant: Activates Plasmacluster ions to reduce odors.
- Air Purification Only: Operates solely as an air purifier without dehumidification.
- Dormir: Operates quietly with dimmed display.
- Medium & High: Fan speed settings.

5.4 Configuració d'humitat
In Dehumidifying mode, you can set your desired humidity level between 40% and 60% in 5% increments. The unit will operate to maintain this level.
5.5 Drenatge continu
For continuous operation without emptying the water tank, connect a suitable drainage hose (not included) to the continuous drainage port on the back of the unit. Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity drainage.
5.6 Gestió del dipòsit d'aigua
The unit has a 4.6-liter water tank. When the tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off, and a 'Water Tank Full' indicator will illuminate. Carefully remove the tank, empty the collected water, and reinsert it securely to resume operation.
5.7 Bloqueig infantil
To activate or deactivate the child lock, press and hold the designated button (refer to control panel diagram) for a few seconds. This prevents accidental changes to settings.
5.8 Airflow Swing
The unit features both horizontal and vertical swing options to distribute purified and dehumidified air effectively throughout the room.
6. Manteniment
Un manteniment regular garanteix un rendiment òptim i allarga la vida útil del deshumidificador.
6.1 Neteja i substitució del filtre
- Prefiltre: The pre-filter should be cleaned regularly (e.g., every two weeks) by vacuuming or washing with water. Allow it to dry completely before reinserting.
- HEPA and Active Carbon Filters: These filters have an estimated lifespan of 5 years under normal usage. They are not washable and should be replaced when the filter indicator light illuminates or when a decrease in air purification performance is noticed. Replacement filters can be purchased from authorized SHARP service centers.
6.2 Neteja del dipòsit d'aigua
Clean the water tank periodically to prevent mold and mildew growth. Use a mild detergent and water, rinse thoroughly, and dry before reinserting.
6.3 Neteja exterior
Netegeu l'exterior de la unitat amb un damp tela. No utilitzeu productes químics aggressivs ni netejadors abrasius.
