Configuració i instal·lació

1. Selecció de l'emplaçament

Choose a level, firm location for the filter pump and saltwater system. It should be at least 10 feet (3 meters) from the pool and accessible for maintenance. Ensure the location is protected from direct sunlight and extreme weather conditions.

2. Muntatge

1. Place the filter tank on its base.
2. Install the multi-port valve onto the top of the filter tank, ensuring a secure seal.
3. Connect the pump motor to the filter tank.
4. Connect the saltwater system electrolytic cell to the pump outlet.
5. Attach the two 1.5-inch connector hoses between the system and your pool's inlet and outlet fittings.
6. Install the HydroAeration Technology inlet fitting into your pool's return jet.

3. Adding Filter Media

This system uses sand as a filter medium. Refer to the product specifications for the correct type and amount of sand required. Carefully add the sand to the filter tank, ensuring the standpipe is centered.

4. Connexió elèctrica

Connect the 25-foot power cord with the built-in GFCI to a properly grounded electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords.

Funcionament

1. Multi-Port Valve Functions

The multi-port valve allows you to select different operating modes:

• Filtre: Normal filtering mode. Water flows through the sand and back to the pool.
• Rentat a contracor: Cleans the sand filter by reversing water flow.
• Esbandida: Used after backwashing to settle the sand.
• Recirculate: Circulates water without filtering (e.g., for chemical mixing).
• Desguàs: Drains water directly from the pool.
• Tancat: Shuts off all flow to the filter.

2. Saltwater System Operation

The integrated saltwater system generates natural chlorine from salt added to the pool water, reducing the need for packaged chlorine. Ensure proper salt levels are maintained for optimal performance.

• Add pool-grade salt to your pool water according to the manual's recommendations based on your pool volume.
• Allow the salt to dissolve completely before activating the saltwater system.
• Use the control panel to set the desired operating hours for chlorine generation. The 24-hour digital timer allows for automatic on/off cycles.

3. HydroAeration Technology

This patented technology enhances water circulation and clarity by injecting air into the water, which causes fine particles to cluster together for more effective filtration. It also increases freshness by generating negative ions.

Manteniment

1. Backwashing the Sand Filter

Backwash the filter when the pressure gauge reading increases by 3-5 PSI (0.2-0.34 BAR) above its clean operating pressure, or when pool water clarity decreases. This typically occurs every 1-2 weeks depending on usage.

3. Reconnect power and turn on the pump. Backwash until the water in the sight glass is clear (approx. 2-3 minutes).

6. Reconnect power and turn on the pump. Rinse for approximately 30-60 seconds.

2. Salt Cell Cleaning

The electrolytic cell may accumulate scale over time, reducing its efficiency. Clean the cell regularly, especially if the "Service" indicator light illuminates.

• Turn off the system and disconnect power.
• Remove the electrolytic cell from the system.
• Inspect the plates for scale buildup. If present, clean with a solution of 1 part muriatic acid to 4 parts water. Always add acid to water, never water to acid.
• Rinse thoroughly with fresh water before reinstallation.

3. Neteja de la cistella del colador

Periodically check and clean the strainer basket located in the pump housing to remove debris and ensure optimal water flow.
