Configuració i instal·lació

The Marathon roof box mounts to your vehicle's roof bars using traditional U-bolts. Ensure your roof bars are properly installed and rated for the combined weight of the roof box and its contents.

Roof Bar Compatibility:

• Supported crossbar width between 70cm (27.5 inches) and 80cm (31.4 inches).
• U-bolts are designed for bar thickness between 0.7 inches and 1.4 inches.

Passos d'instal·lació:

1. Carefully lift the roof box onto your vehicle's roof bars. Position it centrally and ensure it does not obstruct the rear hatch or antenna.
2. Align the pre-drilled mounting holes in the bottom of the roof box with your vehicle's crossbars. The box features three possible increments on both the front and back for flexible positioning.
3. Insert the U-bolts around the crossbars and through the corresponding holes in the roof box. Secure them from inside the box using the provided nuts and metal plates for added stability.
4. Tighten all U-bolt nuts evenly until the box is firmly secured to the roof bars. Do not overtighten.
5. Use the provided sticky padded tape to seal any unused pre-drilled holes from the inside to ensure waterproofing.
6. Once installed, gently shake the box to confirm it is stable and does not wobble.

Instruccions de funcionament

Obertura i tancament:

The MENABO Marathon roof box opens only from the passenger side. To open, unlock the box with the key and gently lift the lid. When closing, ensure the lid aligns properly with the base and press down firmly until the latches engage. Close slowly to avoid damage to hinges.

The box is equipped with a secure key-locking system. Insert the key and turn to lock or unlock. For safety, the key cannot be removed from the lock unless the box is properly closed and fully latched. This ensures the box is always securely closed before driving.
