1. Introducció

3. Configuració i programació

3.1 Powering Your Receiver

1. Connect the power adapter to the jack located on the bottom of the receiver.

The RE-4k Plus receiver uses simple code-learning technology to pair with up to 16 Dakota Alert 4000 Series transmitters. An unlimited number of receivers can be paired to a single sensor.

1. Ensure your receiver is powered on and placed near the transmitter(s) you wish to pair.

5. After all transmitters are coded, press and hold the MODE button until the LEDs stop flashing to exit programming mode.
6. To test the programmed tune, activate the transmitter. You will hear the selected tune through your receiver, and the LEDs will flash.

Note: If you accidentally activate a transmitter on the wrong tune, press the VOLUM button to reselect a tune and reactivate the transmitter.

3.3 Selecting Alert Tunes and Volume

The RE-4k Plus offers 16 different tunes and four volume levels. While in programming mode (LEDs blinking slowly), press the VOLUM button repeatedly to cycle through the available tunes until you find the desired sound. The volume can also be adjusted using the volume button.

4.1 Wireless Range and Expandability

The RE-4k Plus receiver boasts an operating range of up to 1 mile (actual range may vary depending on environmental factors and obstructions). It is designed to be easily expandable, allowing you to pair up to 16 different 4000 Series transmitters, such as the UT-4000 doorbell and DCPT-4000 vehicle sensing probe, to a single receiver. 4.2 Relay and 12V DC Outputs

The RE-4k Plus receiver provides both relay and 12V DC outputs. The two Form "C" relays can be connected to an alarm control panel or home automation system (not included) to function as a hardwired zone. The 12V DC output can power external devices such as bells, sirens, or strobes (not included).

The output duration for these connections is customizable, with options for 1, 5, 15 seconds, or 5 minutes, allowing you to select the duration best suited for your specific application.

5. Manteniment

The Dakota Alert 4000 Series transmitters are designed for long-term, low-maintenance operation. Batteries typically last a year or more under residential use. Regular checks of the transmitter's battery status are recommended to ensure continuous functionality. The units are weather-resistant, but proper installation helps prolong their lifespan.
