1. Introducció

The Datavideo ITC-300 is an 8-user digital wired intercom system designed for professional video production environments. It provides clear, reliable communication between camera operators, directors, and other crew members, enhancing coordination and efficiency during live broadcasts, studio productions, and events. This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your ITC-300 system.

The ITC-300 system consists of a central rack-mountable unit and individual belt packs for each user. It supports up to 8 users and features bi-directional communication, external audio input/output, and integrated tally light control.

4.1 Característiques del panell frontal

• HEADSET/HEADPHONE Jacks: Connect a headset or headphones for monitoring.
• Entrada MIC: For connecting the gooseneck microphone.
• Interruptor de MODE: Toggles between Dynamic and Condenser microphone modes.

• Botó HOLD: Latches the microphone open for continuous talk.
• Botó MUTE: Mutes the microphone output.
• Party Line Buttons (1-8): Individual buttons to communicate with specific users or groups.

5. Configuració

5.1 Connecting Belt Packs and Headsets

1. Connect one end of an RJ45 cable to an available RJ45 port (1-8) on the rear panel of the ITC-300 main unit.
2. Connect the other end of the RJ45 cable to the corresponding port on a belt pack.
3. Plug a headset into the headset jack on the belt pack. Ensure the headset microphone is positioned correctly for clear audio capture.
4. Repeat for all desired users.

5.2 Connecting Tally Lights

If using tally lights, connect the tally light cable from the belt pack to the tally light unit. Then, connect the TALLY A or TALLY B input on the rear of the ITC-300 to your video switcher's tally output. Refer to your video switcher's manual for specific tally output configurations.

5.3 Encès

1. Connect the 12V DC power adapter to the "DC IN 12V" port on the rear panel of the ITC-300.

3. Press the "POWER" button on the front panel. The power indicator light will illuminate.

6. Instruccions de funcionament

6.1 Comunicació bàsica

• Speaking to All Users: Press the "ALL" button on the front panel of the main unit or the corresponding button on your belt pack. Release to stop speaking. For continuous talk, press the "HOLD" button.
• Speaking to Individual Users/Groups: Press the numbered button (1-8) corresponding to the desired user or group on the main unit or belt pack.
• Ajust de volum: Use the "VOLUME" knob on the main unit or the volume control on your belt pack to adjust listening levels.
• Silenciament del micròfon: Press the "MUTE" button on the main unit or belt pack to temporarily disable your microphone.

6.2 Tally Light Functionality

When connected to a compatible video switcher, the tally lights will illuminate to indicate camera status:

• Llum vermella: Indicates the camera is live (on-air).
• Llum verda: Indicates the camera is in preview mode.

6.3 External Audio Integration

• Entrada d'àudio: Connect an external audio source (e.g., program audio, music) to the "AUDIO IN" RCA jacks on the rear panel. This audio will be mixed into the intercom system for all users to hear.
• Sortida d'àudio: The "AUDIO OUT" RCA jacks provide a mixed output of all intercom audio. This can be connected to a recording device, PA system, or broadcast mixer for external monitoring or recording.

• Neteja: Feu servir un drap suau i sec per netejar l'exterior de la unitat. No utilitzeu netejadors líquids ni aerosols.
• Emmagatzematge: Quan no l'utilitzeu durant períodes prolongats, guardeu la unitat en un lloc fresc i sec, allunyat de la llum solar directa i de temperatures extremes.
• Gestió de cables: Assegureu-vos que tots els cables estiguin ben organitzats i no estiguin sota tensió per evitar danys.
