Introducció
The Monoprice SS-4 Premium 4 Channel Speaker Selector is designed to connect up to four pairs of 4-ohm or 8-ohm speakers to a single amplifier or receiver. Configuració i instal·lació
Follow these steps to properly connect your Monoprice SS-4 Speaker Selector to your audio system.
- Apagar: Assegureu-vos el vostre amplifier/receiver and all other audio components are powered off and unplugged from the wall outlet before making any connections.
- Connecta't Ampmés viu: Connect the speaker output terminals of your amplifier or receiver to the "FROM AMPLIFIER L/R" input terminals on the rear of the SS-4 Speaker Selector. Use high-quality 12-16 AWG speaker wire.
- Connectar els altaveus: Connect each pair of speakers to the corresponding "ZONE 1 SPEAKERS L/R" through "ZONE 4 SPEAKERS L/R" output terminals on the rear of the SS-4 Speaker Selector. Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -) for all connections.
- Verifica les connexions: Double-check all speaker wire connections to ensure they are secure and that there are no stray wire strands that could cause a short circuit. The heavy-duty screw-type connectors are designed for secure connections.
- Encès: Once all connections are verified, plug in and power on your amplificador/receptor.
Important:
- The SS-4 features automatic impedance protection circuitry to maintain a safe load for your ampmés viu.
- It supports a 5-ohm minimum amplifier impedance with four 4-ohm speakers selected, and a 6-ohm minimum with 8-ohm speakers.
- Isolated left/right circuit grounds provide a safe connection for amplifiers with floating grounds or bridged configurations.
Instruccions de funcionament
Using the Monoprice SS-4 Speaker Selector is straightforward.
- Select Speaker Zones: Press the "ZONE 1", "ZONE 2", "ZONE 3", or "ZONE 4" buttons on the front panel to turn the corresponding speaker pair on or off.
- Zones múltiples: You can activate one or more speaker zones simultaneously. The impedance protection circuitry will automatically adjust to ensure a safe load for your ampmés viu.
