4. Configuració

4.1 Instal·lació i càrrega de la bateria

The RT649 uses 3 AA NiMH rechargeable batteries per unit. Ensure correct polarity when inserting batteries.

1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the walkie talkie.
2. Insert the 3 supplied AA NiMH rechargeable batteries, observing the polarity markings (+/-).

4. To charge, place the walkie talkie in the charging station or connect the micro-USB cable directly to the charging port on the side of the unit.
5. The battery indicator on the display will show charging status. Charge fully before first use.

4.2 Col·locació del clip de cinturó

Attach the belt clip to the designated slot on the back of the walkie talkie for convenient carrying.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

5.1 Encès/Apagat

• Per encendre, premeu i manteniu premut Poder button (usually located above the CALL button) until the display lights up.
• Per apagar-lo, manteniu premut el botó Poder de nou el botó fins que la pantalla s'apagui.

5.2 Ajust del volum

Utilitza el Up i Avall botons de fletxa per ajustar el volum d'escolta.

5.3 Selecció de canals

The RT649 has 16 main channels.

5.4 Setting Sub-codes (CTCSS/DCS)

Sub-codes help filter out unwanted conversations on the same main channel.

3. Premeu el botó MENÚ de nou el botó o espereu uns segons per confirmar.

5.5 Transmissió i recepció

• Per transmetre, premeu i manteniu premut el botó PTT (prem per parlar) botó al lateral de la ràdio. Parla clarament al micròfon.
• Allibera el PTT botó per rebre.
• Ensure all radios are on the same channel and sub-code for communication.

Funció VOX 5.6 (mans lliures)

VOX allows you to transmit by speaking into the microphone without pressing the PTT button.

1. Premeu el botó MENÚ button multiple times until "VOX" appears on the display.
2. Utilitza el Up i Avall arrow buttons to select the VOX sensitivity level (1-3, with 3 being most sensitive). "OFF" disables VOX.

5.7 Ús de la llanterna LED

Premeu el botó LAMP button to turn the LED flashlight on or off. This can be useful in low-light conditions or emergencies.

5.8 To de trucada

Premeu el botó TRUCA button to send an audible call alert to other radios on the same channel.

5.9 Monitor and Scan Functions

• Monitor: Premeu el botó Dl./Escaneig button briefly to listen to weak signals on the current channel.
• Escaneig: Manteniu premut el botó Dl./Escaneig button to activate channel scanning. The radio will scan through all 16 channels and stop on an active channel. Press again to stop scanning.
