1. Introducció

Thank you for choosing the PowerWalker VI 3000 SCL FR Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS). 2. Instruccions de seguretat

Please observe the following safety precautions to ensure safe operation and to prevent damage to the UPS or connected equipment.

• Seguretat elèctrica: No obriu el SAI casing. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Ensure the UPS is connected to a grounded power outlet.
• Col·locació: Place the UPS in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture. Do not block ventilation openings.
• Seguretat de la bateria: The UPS contains internal batteries. Do not dispose of batteries in a fire, as they may explode. Do not open or mutilate batteries. Electrolyte is harmful to the skin and eyes.

5. Configuració

5.1 Col·locació

Choose a suitable location for your UPS:

• Avoid areas with excessive dust, humidity, or extreme temperatures.

1. Connect the UPS input power cord to a grounded wall outlet.
2. Allow the UPS to charge for at least 8 hours before initial use to ensure optimal battery runtime. The UPS will charge whether it is turned ON or OFF.

5.3 Equips de connexió

1. Plug your computer, monitor, and other critical devices into the output sockets on the rear panel of the UPS.
2. Do not connect laser printers or shredders to the UPS, as their high surge current during startup may overload the unit.
3. For network/telephone line protection, connect your modem/router to the RJ11/RJ45 IN port and then connect the OUT port to your device.

6. Funcionament

6.1 Turning the UPS ON/OFF

• Encendre: Press and hold the power button on the front panel for approximately 3 seconds until you hear a beep and the LCD display illuminates.
• Apagar: Press and hold the power button for approximately 3 seconds until you hear a beep and the LCD display turns off.

6.2 Comprensió de la pantalla LCD

The LCD display provides real-time status of the UPS. Key indicators include:

• Entrada Voltage: Displays the current utility power voltage.

Connect the UPS to your computer using the provided USB cable. The UPS supports HID (Human Interface Device) driver, allowing basic functionality without additional software on compatible operating systems.

7. Manteniment

7.1 Cura de la bateria

• To maintain optimal battery life, ensure the UPS is connected to a power outlet at all times to keep the batteries charged.
• Perform a battery calibration (if supported by software) or a full discharge/recharge cycle every 3-6 months to ensure accurate battery runtime readings.
• Batteries are consumable items and will degrade over time. Replace batteries when their runtime significantly decreases.
