1. Instruccions de seguretat importants

Please read these instructions carefully before using the SOGO Deluxe Toaster SS-5390. Keep this manual for future reference.

3. Configuració

1. Desembalatge: Carefully remove the toaster and all packaging materials. Retain packaging for storage or return if necessary.
2. Col·locació: Place the toaster on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials such as curtains or walls. Ensure adequate ventilation around the toaster.
3. Primer ús: Before first use, operate the toaster without bread on the highest setting (7) a few times to burn off any manufacturing residues. This may produce a slight odor and smoke, which is normal. Ensure the area is well-ventilated.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

1. Inserir pa: Place one or two slices of bread into the long toasting slot.
2. Selecciona el nivell de daurat: Turn the browning control dial to your desired setting, from 1 (lightest) to 7 (darkest). Start with a medium setting (e.g., 3 or 4) and adjust according to preference.
3. Començar a torrar: Press the lever down until it locks into place. The LED indicator for the Cancel button will illuminate, and the toasting cycle will begin.
4. Automatic Pop-up: Once the selected browning level is reached, the toast will automatically pop up, and the toaster will shut off.
5. Treure la torrada: Carefully remove the toast from the slot. Be cautious as the toast and surrounding metal surfaces will be hot.

5. Funcions especials

The SOGO Deluxe Toaster SS-5390 includes three special functions for enhanced versatility:

• Funció de descongelació:
  To toast frozen bread, insert the bread and press the lever down. Then, press the DESGELAR button. The LED indicator for Defrost will light up. This function adds extra time to the toasting cycle to properly defrost and toast frozen items.
• Funció de reescalfament:
  To warm up already toasted bread without further browning, insert the bread and press the lever down. Then, press the RECALFEM button. The LED indicator for Reheat will light up. This cycle is shorter and uses less heat.
• Funció de cancel·lació:
  Per aturar el cicle de torrada en qualsevol moment, premeu el botó CANCEL·LA button. The lever will immediately pop up, and the toaster will turn off.

6. Neteja i Manteniment

Una neteja regular garanteix un rendiment òptim i allarga la vida útil de la torradora.

1. Desconnecta i refresca: Desendolleu sempre la torradora de la presa de corrent i deixeu-la refredar completament abans de netejar-la.
2. Safata de molla: Pull out the removable crumb tray from the bottom of the toaster. Dispose of crumbs and wipe the tray clean with a damp drap. Assegureu-vos que la safata estigui completament seca abans de tornar-la a inserir.
3. Exterior: Netegeu l'exterior de la torradora amb un drap suau i sec.amp drap. No feu servir netejadors abrasius ni fregalls metàl·lics, ja que poden ratllar l'acabat d'acer inoxidable.
4. Interior: Never insert utensils or fingers into the toasting slots. If food becomes lodged, unplug the toaster and carefully turn it upside down to shake out the food.
5. Emmagatzematge: When not in use, the power cord can be wrapped around the cord storage area under the base of the toaster. Store the toaster in a clean, dry place.
