1. Introducció

Thank you for choosing the MOMMED Fingertip Pulse Oximeter. This device is designed to provide a non-invasive method for spot-checking blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) and pulse rate (PRbpm) at home, in medical facilities, or during sports activities. It features an OLED display for clear readings and an alarm function for abnormal measurements. Please read this manual thoroughly before use to ensure safe and proper operation.

3. Configuració

3.1 Instal·lació de la bateria

1. Obriu la tapa del compartiment de la bateria que es troba a la part posterior del dispositiu.
2. Insert two (2) AAA batteries into the compartment, ensuring the polarity (+/-) matches the diagram inside the compartment.
3. Tanqueu bé la tapa del compartiment de la bateria.

The device requires 2 AAA batteries for operation, providing approximately 20 hours of continuous use.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

4.1 Prendre una mesura

1. Ensure the device has batteries installed.
2. Obriu el clamp of the oximeter.
3. Insert one of your fingers (preferably the index, middle, or ring finger) into the rubber opening of the oximeter until it touches the stop. Ensure your nail is facing upwards towards the display.
4. Allibera el clamp.
5. Press the power button once to turn on the oximeter.
6. Keep your hand still and avoid movement during the measurement. Readings will appear on the display within a few seconds.
7. The device will automatically power off after 6 seconds of inactivity once the finger is removed.

4.2 Ajustar la configuració

While the device is on, a long press of the power button will enter the settings menu. You can navigate through options and adjust parameters such as:

• SpO2 Alarm High/Low: Set thresholds for oxygen saturation.
• PR Alarm High/Low: Set thresholds for pulse rate.
• Bip: Turn the heartbeat sound on or off.

5. Comprensió de lectures

The oximeter displays three primary measurements:

• SpO2 (Peripheral Capillary Oxygen Saturation): Això indica el percentatgetage of hemoglobin in your blood that is saturated with oxygen. Normal SpO2 values typically range from 95% to 100%. Readings below 90% may indicate hypoxemia and require medical attention. The measuring range for this device is 70% - 100% SpO2.
• PRbpm (Pulse Rate in beats per minute): This is the number of times your heart beats per minute. Normal adult pulse rates usually range from 60 to 100 bpm.
• PI% (Perfusion Index): This is a numerical value that indicates the strength of the pulsatile blood flow at the sensor site. A higher PI value indicates stronger blood flow, which can lead to more reliable readings.

6. Manteniment i cura

6.1 Neteja

• Clean the surface of the oximeter before and after each use with a soft cloth dampamb un 70% d’alcohol isopropílic.
• No submergiu el dispositiu en aigua ni en cap altra solució de neteja.
• Ensure the device is completely dry before use.

6.2 Emmagatzematge

• Guardeu l'oxímetre en un lloc fresc i sec, allunyat de la llum solar directa i de temperatures extremes.
• Si no heu d'utilitzar el dispositiu durant un període prolongat, traieu-ne les piles per evitar fuites i danys.

6.3 Substitució de la bateria

When the low battery indicator appears on the display, replace both AAA batteries promptly to ensure accurate readings and proper device function.
