1. Instruccions de seguretat importants

Before installation, please check that all components are present and undamaged:

• Thermoval TX 1000W Convector Electric Heater unit.
• Set of detachable feet for freestanding use.
• Wall mounting brackets and screws.

4. Configuració i instal·lació

The Thermoval TX heater can be used as a freestanding unit or mounted on a wall.

4.1. Freestanding Installation:

1. Carefully unpack the heater and its accessories.
2. Attach the provided feet to the base of the heater using the designated slots and screws. Ensure they are securely fastened.
3. Place the heater on a stable, level surface, ensuring it is at least 1 meter (3 feet) away from any walls, furniture, or combustible materials.

4.2. Wall Mounting Installation:

1. Choose a suitable wall location, ensuring it is clear of obstructions and at least 1 meter (3 feet) from combustible materials. The wall must be capable of supporting the heater's weight (3.4 kg).
2. Mark the positions for drilling holes using the wall mounting brackets as a template. Ensure the marks are level.
3. Drill the holes and insert appropriate wall plugs (if necessary, depending on wall material).
4. Securely attach the wall mounting brackets to the wall using the provided screws.
5. Carefully hang the heater onto the installed wall brackets, ensuring it is firmly seated and stable.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

Once installed, your Thermoval TX heater is ready for operation.

5.1. Encendre/apagar:

1. Connecteu l'escalfador a una presa de corrent adequada.
2. Locate the power switch (typically on the side or bottom of the unit) and switch it to the 'ON' position.
3. To turn off the heater, switch the power switch to the 'OFF' position and unplug the unit from the outlet.

5.2. Control de temperatura:

The heater is equipped with a thermostat to regulate the room temperature. Adjust the thermostat dial or controls to your desired comfort level. The heater will cycle on and off to maintain the set temperature.

5.3. Antifreeze Function:

This heater includes an antifreeze function. When activated (refer to specific control markings on your unit), the heater will automatically turn on if the room temperature drops to a low level (typically around 5-7°C) to prevent freezing.

6. Manteniment

Un manteniment regular garanteix un rendiment òptim i una llarga vida útil del vostre escalfador.

6.1. Neteja:

• Desendolleu sempre l'escalfador i deixeu-lo refredar completament abans de netejar-lo.
• Netegeu les superfícies exteriors amb un damp tela. No utilitzeu netejadors abrasius ni dissolvents.
• No submergiu l'escalfador en aigua ni deixeu que l'aigua gotegi a l'interior.
• Periodically vacuum the air intake and outlet grilles to remove dust and debris.

6.2. Emmagatzematge:

Si heu d'emmagatzemar l'escalfador durant un període prolongat, netegeu-lo a fons i guardeu-lo en un lloc fresc i sec, preferiblement en el seu embalatge original.

Si teniu problemes amb el vostre escalfador, consulteu els següents problemes i solucions habituals:

• L'escalfador no s'encén:
  • Check if the heater is properly plugged into a working electrical outlet.
  • Assegureu-vos que l'interruptor d'alimentació estigui a la posició "ON".
  • Verifiqueu que l'interruptor automàtic no s'hagi disparat.
• Sense producció de calor:

  • Ensure the room temperature is below the thermostat setting.
  • The antifreeze function might be active, only heating when temperatures drop significantly.

  • A new heater may emit a slight odor during initial use; this is normal and should dissipate.
  • If unusual or loud noises persist, unplug the heater immediately and contact customer support.
