1. Introducció

The Nektar MIDIFLEX4 is a versatile 4-port USB MIDI interface designed to integrate seamlessly into any MIDI setup across macOS, Windows, and iOS operating systems. This device offers flexible MIDI connectivity, allowing its 4 MIDI ports to be configured as 1 input / 3 outputs, 2 inputs / 2 outputs, or 4 outputs. 2. Configuració i instal·lació

1. Connect the MIDIFLEX4 to an available USB port on your computer (macOS or Windows) or iOS device (using an appropriate adapter, not included).
2. The device will be automatically recognized by your operating system.
3. Open your Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) software or any MIDI application. The MIDIFLEX4 ports will appear in the MIDI settings of your software.

2.2 Connecting MIDI Gear

Connect your external MIDI instruments, controllers, or other MIDI devices to the MIDI ports on the MIDIFLEX4. The interface features automatic port detection, which identifies whether a port is configured as an input or an output.

3.1 MIDI Port Configuration

3.2 Stand-Alone MIDI Merge and Split Functions

The MIDIFLEX4 can operate in stand-alone mode without a computer, functioning as a MIDI merge or split box. This requires an external power supply (not included) connected to the USB port.

1. Connect an external 5V DC power supply to the USB port of the MIDIFLEX4.
