1. Introducció

Thank you for choosing the Smad 13.8 Cu.Ft. Upright Freezer/Refrigerator. This appliance is designed to provide reliable and flexible food storage, functioning as either a freezer or a refrigerator. Please read this manual thoroughly before operation to ensure proper use, maintenance, and safety.

2. Informació de seguretat

Your safety and the safety of others are very important. Please follow all safety precautions listed below to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury.

• Seguretat elèctrica: Assegureu-vos que l'aparell estigui connectat a una presa de corrent amb connexió a terra i el volum correctetage (115 volts). No utilitzeu cables d'extensió ni adaptadors sense connexió a terra.

3. Configuració i instal·lació

3.1 Desembalatge

Carefully remove all packaging materials, including foam and adhesive tape. Inspect the appliance for any shipping damage. Keep packaging materials until you are satisfied with the product.

3.2 Col·locació

Choose a location with a firm, level floor that can support the weight of the appliance when fully loaded. Ensure there is sufficient clearance around the unit for proper air circulation (at least 4 inches from walls). Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources.

3.3 Anivellació

The appliance is equipped with adjustable leveling feet. Use a wrench to adjust the feet to ensure the unit is stable and level. This helps prevent vibrations and ensures proper door sealing.

3.4 Connexió d'alimentació

Plug the appliance into a dedicated, grounded 115V AC outlet. Allow the unit to stand upright for at least 2-4 hours before plugging it in to allow refrigerants to settle.

3.5 Inici inicial

After plugging in, the appliance will begin cooling. It may take several hours for the internal temperature to reach the set point. It is recommended to wait 24 hours before loading food.

4.1 LED Control Panel

The appliance features an intuitive LED control panel located on the door for easy temperature adjustment and mode selection.

• Indicador de temperatura: Displays the current internal temperature.

• Fridge/Freeze Mode Button: Press to switch between Freezer mode and Refrigerator mode.
• Quick Freeze Button: Activates rapid cooling for faster freezing of new items.
• Botó de bloqueig/desbloqueig: Bloqueja el tauler de control per evitar canvis accidentals.
• High Temperature Indicator/Alarm: Illuminates if the internal temperature rises above safe levels.
• Door Open Indicator/Alarm: Illuminates and sounds if the door is left ajar.

4.2 Configuració de temperatura

The appliance offers a wide temperature range depending on the selected mode:

• Mode congelador: -4℉ to 6.8℉ (-20℃ to -14℃)
• Mode nevera: 32 ℉ a 50 ℉ (0 ℃ a 10 ℃)

4.3 Door Ajar Alarm

If the door is left open for an extended period, an audible alarm will sound, and the 'Door Open' indicator will light up. Close the door fully to silence the alarm and prevent food spoilage.

4.4 Frost-Free Operation

This appliance features a frost-free cooling system, which automatically prevents ice buildup. This eliminates the need for manual defrosting, saving time and effort.

4.5 Flexible Food Storage

The interior is designed for versatile storage with four sliding cupboard shelves, four sliding door shelves, and a wire storage basket. These components can be adjusted or removed to accommodate various food items.

5. Manteniment i cura

5.1 Neteja

• Interior: Clean the interior regularly with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Do not use abrasive cleaners or sharp objects.

• Segell de la porta: Clean the door gasket regularly to ensure a tight seal. A thick door seal helps maintain temperature efficiency.

5.2 Power Outtage

En cas d'una potènciatage, keep the door closed to maintain the internal temperature for as long as possible. Avoid opening the door unnecessarily.

5.3 Moure l'aparell

When moving the appliance, ensure it is empty and secured. Use the four wheel rollers for easier movement. After moving, allow it to stand for a few hours before plugging it back in.
