1. Introducció

Please read and understand all safety instructions before using the file cabinet to prevent injury or damage.

• Do not exceed a total load of 330 pounds for the entire cabinet.
• Do not exceed 55 pounds per drawer. Overloading can cause instability and damage.
• Always use the casters carefully when moving the cabinet to prevent tipping.
• To prevent tipping, avoid opening more than one drawer at a time, especially the top drawer when the bottom is empty. The central caster is designed to help prevent tipping when a single drawer is opened.

The DEVAISE 2 Drawer Mobile File Cabinet comes with the following components:

4. Configuració

El file cabinet arrives largely pre-assembled. The only required setup is the installation of the casters.

1. Carefully unbox the file cabinet and place it on its side or back on a soft, clean surface to avoid scratching the finish.
2. Identify the five caster attachment points on the bottom of the cabinet. Four points are at the corners, and one is centrally located at the front.
3. Screw each of the four swivel casters into the corner attachment points. Ensure they are tightened securely using the provided tools.
4. Screw the anti-tipping central caster into the front-center attachment point. This caster is crucial for stability when drawers are extended.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

5.1 Ús del calaix

The DEVAISE file cabinet features two drawers designed for smooth operation and full extension, allowing easy access to contents at the back.

• Obertura de calaixos: Gently pull the integrated handle at the top of each drawer. The full-extension slides ensure the drawer glides out completely.
• Tancament de calaixos: Push the drawer firmly until it clicks into place, ensuring it is fully closed for security and to engage the interlock system.

5.2 File Organització

The drawers are equipped with removable hanging bars to accommodate various file mides.

• Calaix superior: Suitable for general file folders or smaller items.
• Calaix inferior: Equipped with hanging bars for Letter, A4, and Legal size hanging file folders. Adjust the bars as needed to fit your desired file mida.

5.3 Mecanisme de bloqueig

The cabinet features an interlock system that secures both drawers simultaneously.

• Tancar: Ensure both drawers are fully closed. Insert one of the provided keys into the lock cylinder located on the top drawer and turn it clockwise until the drawers are secured.

6. Manteniment
