1. Introducció

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, installation, and maintenance of your Ferroli RITA-FS 4.5TM Instant Water Heater. Please read these instructions carefully before installation and use, and retain them for future reference.

The Ferroli RITA-FS 4.5TM is designed to provide instant hot water, featuring a built-in booster pump for areas with low water pressure, ensuring a continuous hot water flow.

4. Configuració i instal·lació

Installation of the Ferroli RITA-FS 4.5TM Instant Water Heater should only be performed by a certified professional to ensure safety and proper functionality.

4.1 Muntatge de la unitat

Select a suitable wall location, ensuring it is sturdy enough to support the unit and allows for easy access to water and electrical connections. Use appropriate fasteners for your wall type.

4.2 Connexions d'aigua

Connect the water inlet and outlet pipes. The inlet is typically marked with blue, and the outlet with red. Ensure all connections are watertight. A flow control valve is included for managing water flow.

4.3 Connexió elèctrica

Connect the water heater to a dedicated electrical circuit with appropriate earthing, as per local electrical codes. Ensure the power supply is off during connection.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

Once installed and connected, operating your Ferroli RITA-FS 4.5TM is straightforward.

5.1 Engegada/apagada

Turn the central knob clockwise from the 'OFF' position to power on the unit. To turn off, rotate the knob counter-clockwise to 'OFF'.

5.2 Ajust de la temperatura de l'aigua

Rotate the central knob to select the desired heating level. The knob features settings from minimum to maximum heat. The analog temperature display will show the current water temperature inside the tank.

5.3 indicador LED

The LED indicator on the front panel will illuminate red when the water heater is actively heating. It will change to blue once the water has reached the set temperature.

6. Manteniment

• Escala: The 'Blue Forever' heating element is designed to reduce scaling. However, in areas with very hard water, periodic descaling by a qualified technician may be beneficial.
• Filtre d'entrada: The unit has an inlet filter. Do not remove this filter when the unit is in use. Periodically check and clean the filter to prevent blockages and maintain water flow. Ensure power is disconnected before checking the filter.
• Inspecció professional: It is recommended to have the water heater inspected by a qualified technician annually.
