The StarTech.com 2-Port USB-C KVM Switch (SV211HDUC) allows you to control two USB Type-C or Thunderbolt 3 enabled desktop or laptop computers from a single HDMI monitor, keyboard, and mouse. This compact, bus-powered KVM switch supports UHD resolutions up to 4K (3840x2160) at 60Hz, providing a streamlined workspace solution with minimal cabling.

Instruccions de configuració

1. Connect your Monitor: Connect your HDMI monitor to the HDMI Out port on the KVM switch using an HDMI 2.0 cable (not included).
2. Connecteu els perifèrics: Connect your USB keyboard and USB mouse to the USB-A peripheral ports on the KVM switch.
3. Connectar ordinadors: Use the included USB-C cables to connect each of your two computers (PC1 and PC2) to the USB-C Host Input ports on the KVM switch. Ensure your computers support DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode) over USB-C for video output. The KVM is bus-powered, drawing power from the connected computers.
4. Encès: Power on your computers and monitor. The KVM switch will automatically detect the active computer.

Nota: For optimal performance, ensure your monitor and computers are capable of 4K 60Hz resolution if you intend to use this feature.

To switch between the connected computers (PC1 and PC2), simply press the button located on the top of the KVM switch. The LED indicators (PC1, PC2) will illuminate to show which computer is currently active.

• Press the button once to switch from PC1 to PC2.
• Press the button again to switch from PC2 to PC1.

  • Avoid using excessive cable lengths, as this can degrade signal quality.
