The iron features a high-performance Durilium Airglide soleplate, ensuring excellent glide and scratch resistance. It provides up to 50 g/minute continuous steam output and a powerful 250 g/minute steam boost for stubborn creases.

Configuració

Abans del primer ús

2. Clean the soleplate with a soft cloth to remove any manufacturing residues.
3. For the first use, iron an old piece of fabric to ensure any remaining residues are removed and to test steam function.

• For optimal performance and to prolong the life of your iron, it is recommended to use tap water. If your tap water is very hard, mix it with an equal amount of distilled water. Do not use 100% distilled water or scented water.

3. Wait for the indicator light to turn off, signaling that the iron has reached the selected temperature.
4. For steam ironing, ensure the temperature setting is within the steam zone (usually indicated on the dial).
5. To activate continuous steam, slide the steam control to the desired steam level.
6. For a powerful steam boost to remove stubborn creases, press the steam boost button.
7. The iron features an Eco mode, which reduces energy consumption by up to 20% while maintaining effective ironing performance. Activate this mode for environmentally friendly ironing.

For safety and energy saving, your Tefal FV 6810 Ultragliss Plus Steam Iron is equipped with an automatic shut-off feature. If left unattended in a horizontal position, the iron will turn off after a certain period. If left vertically, it will shut off after a longer period. To restart, simply move the iron.

Manteniment i Neteja

Neteja de la sola

• If starch or other residues stick to the soleplate, use a specialized soleplate cleaning stick or a mixture of baking soda and water applied with a soft cloth.

Your iron is equipped with an integrated anti-calc system to reduce limescale build-up. To maintain its effectiveness, regularly perform the self-clean function (if available, otherwise general advice):
