Introducció

The FOXSUR 12V/7A 7-Stage Automatic Pulse Repair Battery Charger/Maintainer is designed for charging and maintaining various 12V lead-acid batteries, including Calcium, GEL, AGM, Wet, and EFB types. This smart charger features a 7-stage charging process to optimize battery performance and extend its lifespan. It is suitable for a wide range of vehicles such as cars, motorcycles, ATVs, golf carts, yachts, and mowers.

Configuració

Follow these steps to connect the charger to your battery:

1. Connecteu la bateria Clamps:

   Ensure a secure connection to prevent sparks or poor contact.

   • Plug the charger's power cord into a standard 100-240V AC, 50-60Hz household electrical outlet.

Instruccions de funcionament

The FOXSUR charger operates automatically once connected. It features a 7-stage charging process to ensure optimal battery health.

Automatic Charging Process:

The charger automatically detects the battery type and condition, adjusting the charging parameters accordingly. The 7 stages typically include desulfation, soft start, bulk charge, absorption, battery test, recondition, and float.

• Pantalla intel·ligent: The LCD screen will show real-time information such as charging voltage, current, battery charge percentage, i temperatura.
• Selecció del mode: The charger may automatically select the appropriate mode (e.g., Standard, GEL, AGM, MOTO, Repair). Refer to the display for the active mode.
• Protecció de sobrecàrrega: The charger will automatically switch to maintenance mode once the battery is fully charged, preventing overcharging. You can leave the charger connected indefinitely.

This function is designed to help restore drained and sulfated batteries. The charger will automatically engage this mode if it detects a sulfated battery. This process can take several hours depending on the battery's condition.

Manteniment

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity of your battery and charger.

• Cura del carregador: Keep the charger clean and dry. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

Troubleshooting & Important Considerations

This section addresses common questions and limitations of the charger.

• El carregador no s'activa: Ensure the battery is 12V and within the 6-120Ah range. Check all connections for security. The minimum start voltage for the charger is 8.0V.
• "ERO" Display: This indicates a reverse connection. Disconnect the charger immediately and re-connect the clamps to the correct battery terminals (red to positive, black to negative).
• Cannot Activate Dead Battery: This charger cannot activate a completely dead battery (below 8.0V).
• Cannot Repair Severely Damaged Battery: The pulse repair function is effective for sulfated batteries but cannot repair batteries that are physically damaged or have internal cell failures. It also cannot restore a battery to 100% new condition if it is significantly degraded.
