The hansgrohe Locarno Thermostatic Shower Valve Trim requires the hansgrohe iBox Universal Plus Rough (Model 01850181) for proper installation. This rough-in valve is sold separately and must be installed within the wall according to its own instruction manual before installing the trim kit.
