The SENCKIT WiFi Water Sensor is a smart leak detection device designed to provide real-time alerts to your smartphone via the Tuya APP. It helps monitor for water leaks or preset water level overflows in various locations such as laundry rooms, basements, kitchens, and bathrooms, offering peace of mind and preventing potential water damage.

This device operates on a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and is powered by two AAA batteries, ensuring long-lasting operation and easy replacement. Its thoughtful design allows for installation in small spaces, making it versatile for various household applications.

3. Configuració i instal·lació

3.1. Instal·lació de la bateria

1. Localitzeu el compartiment de la bateria a la part posterior de la unitat del sensor.
2. Obriu la coberta del compartiment.
3. Introduïu les dues piles AAA, assegurant-vos de la polaritat correcta (+/-).
4. Tanqueu bé la tapa del compartiment de la bateria.

3.2. Descàrrega de l'aplicació i creació de compte

1. Descarrega't el Tuya Smart or Vida intel·ligent App from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
2. Open the App and register for a new account if you don't have one, or log in with an existing account.

3.3. Device Pairing with Wi-Fi

The sensor only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks. Ensure your router is configured for 2.4 GHz or that your device is connected to the 2.4 GHz band during pairing.

1. Ensure your smartphone is connected to your home's 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
2. Open the Tuya Smart/Smart Life App.

5. Follow the on-screen instructions to put the sensor into pairing mode. This usually involves pressing and holding a button on the sensor until an indicator light flashes rapidly.
6. Enter your Wi-Fi network password in the App.
7. Wait for the device to connect. Once connected, the indicator light on the sensor will stop flashing and remain solid.
8. You can rename the device in the App for easier identification (e.g., "Basement Water Sensor").

3.4. Placement of the Sensor

Place the main sensor unit in a dry location, and position the water detection probe where water leaks are most likely to occur. The probe should be placed directly on the floor or surface where water accumulation is a concern.

• Ubicacions recomanades: Basements, laundry rooms (near washing machines), kitchens (under sinks, near dishwashers), bathrooms (near toilets, bathtubs), water heater closets, and areas with plumbing.
• Ensure the probe's metal contacts are in direct contact with the surface to be monitored.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

4.1. Monitorització en temps real

Once the sensor is successfully paired and placed, it will continuously monitor for water leaks. When water is detected by the probe, the sensor will immediately trigger an alarm.

4.2. App Notifications

Upon detection of water, your smartphone will receive an instant alarm message via the Tuya Smart/Smart Life App. Ensure that push notifications are enabled for the App on your phone's settings.

4.3. Restabliment d'alarma

The alarm will automatically reset once the water is no longer detected by the probe. After addressing the leak, ensure the probe area is dry.

4.4. Compartició de dispositius

You can share access to the device with family members through the Tuya Smart/Smart Life App. This allows multiple users to receive alerts and monitor the sensor's activity.

1. In the App, navigate to the device settings for the water sensor.
2. Look for a "Share Device" or "Device Sharing" option.
3. Follow the prompts to invite other users (they must also have a Tuya Smart/Smart Life account).

5. Manteniment

The sensor uses 2 AAA batteries. The App will provide a low battery reminder when replacement is needed. Battery life is typically more than six months.

1. When a low battery alert is received, replace the batteries promptly to ensure continuous protection.

5.2. Neteja

Wipe the sensor unit and probe with a dry, soft cloth as needed. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the main unit in water.

1. Place the water detection probe in a small amount of water (e.g., a few drops on a plate).
2. Verify that you receive an alarm notification on your smartphone.
3. Remove the probe from the water and dry it thoroughly. The alarm should clear.
