2. Informació de seguretat

3. Components
Familiarize yourself with the main parts of your Gaggia MD15 Coffee Grinder:

4. Configuració
Before first use, follow these steps to prepare your grinder:
- Desembalar: Traieu amb cura tots els materials d'embalatge i assegureu-vos que hi hagi tots els components.
- Neteja: Netegeu l'exterior del molinet amb anunciamp cloth. Wash the coffee bean hopper lid and ground coffee container with warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Muntar: Place the ground coffee container securely into its position under the dispenser outlet. Ensure the coffee bean hopper is correctly seated on top of the grinder body.
- Tremuja d'ompliment: Open the hopper lid and pour whole roasted coffee beans into the hopper. Do not overfill beyond the maximum fill line. Close the lid.
- Connectar l'alimentació: Connecteu el cable d'alimentació a una presa de corrent adequada.

5. Instruccions de funcionament
5.1. Ajust de mòlta
The Gaggia MD15 offers 15 grind settings, from very fine (1) for espresso to coarse (15) for French press or filter coffee. Adjust the grind fineness using the rotary knob on the side of the grinder.
- For Espresso: Select settings 1-5.
- For Filter Coffee: Select settings 6-10.
- Per a la premsa francesa: Select settings 11-15.
Nota: It is recommended to adjust the grind setting only when the grinder is operating or completely empty to prevent damage to the burrs.

5.2. Moler el cafè
- Ensure the coffee bean hopper is filled with whole beans and the ground coffee container is in place.
- Select your desired grind fineness using the adjustment knob.
- Premeu el botó INICI/PARA button on the control panel to begin grinding.
- The grinder will operate until the preset time or quantity is reached, or until you press INICI/PARA again to manually stop it.
- Remove the ground coffee container or place your portafilter directly under the dispenser to collect the freshly ground coffee.

5.3. Using the Digital Timer
The digital display allows you to set a specific grinding time or quantity for consistent results. Use the rotary knob to navigate through the timer settings and the START/STOP button to confirm your selection. Refer to the LED icons on the control panel for visual guidance on quantity or time settings.

6. Manteniment
Una neteja regular garanteix un rendiment òptim i allarga la vida útil del molinet.
6.1. Cleaning the Grinding Chamber and Burrs
- Desconnectar: Desconnecteu sempre el molinet abans de netejar-lo.
- Tremuja buida: Traieu els grans de cafè restants de la tremuja.
- Treure la rebava superior: Follow the instructions in your quick start guide to unlock and remove the upper conical burr.
- Neteja del raspall: Use a small brush (often supplied with the grinder) to remove ground coffee particles from both the upper and lower burrs, and from the grinding chamber.
- Torneu a muntar: Carefully reinsert and lock the upper burr into place.
6.2. Cleaning Hopper and Container
- The coffee bean hopper lid and ground coffee container can be washed with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reattaching.
