Configuració
- Initial Priming: Before first use, remove the caps from both ends of the LifeStraw. Submerge the bottom end (intake) in water for 10-20 seconds to allow the filter to absorb water and become saturated. This primes the filter for optimal flow.
- First Sips: After priming, take 5 quick sips to draw water through the filter. Spit out the first few mouthfuls of water to ensure any loose carbon particles are flushed out.

- Locate Water Source: Find a natural water source such as a river, stream, or lake.

- After Drinking: After each use, blow a puff of air back through the mouthpiece to clear any remaining water and flush the filter. This helps prevent clogging and keeps the filter clean.
Manteniment
- Rentat a contracorrent: After each use, or if flow rate decreases, perform backwashing. Blow air forcefully through the mouthpiece to dislodge any trapped particles from the filter membrane.
- Emmagatzematge: After backwashing, allow the LifeStraw to air dry completely before replacing the caps. Store in a cool, dry place.
- Eviteu la congelació: Do not allow the LifeStraw to freeze once it has been used and contains water, as this can damage the filter membrane. If freezing is unavoidable, store it in a sealed bag and allow it to thaw completely before use. Test the flow rate before drinking.
