1. Introducció

5.1 Instal·lació de la bateria

3. Insert four (4) 1.5 V AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Batteries are not included.

5.2 Initial Function Test

Before first use, or if you suspect inaccurate readings, perform a function test:

1. Ensure the protective cap is securely placed over the measuring electrodes.

3. The protective cap has two integrated test fields. Press the electrodes firmly onto these test fields.
4. The display should show specific reference values (e.g., 19% for wood and all bars for building materials) indicating correct functionality. Refer to the markings on the protective cap for exact test values.

6. Instruccions de funcionament

6.1 General Measurement Procedure

1. Remove the protective cap from the measuring electrodes. The cap can be stored on the bottom end of the device during measurement to prevent loss.
2. Press the 'ON/SET' button to power on the device.
3. Firmly insert both measuring electrodes into the material you wish to measure. Ensure the electrodes penetrate sufficiently for an accurate reading.

5. After measurement, remove the electrodes from the material. The display will clear.

6.2 Wood Moisture Measurement

The left scale on the display (marked with '%') is used for wood moisture readings. The measuring range for wood is 6% to 44%.

6.3 Building Material Moisture Measurement

The right scale on the display (marked with 'c/%') is used for building material moisture readings. This applies to soft building materials such as plaster, mortar, and concrete. The measuring range for building materials is 0.2% to 2.0%.

The device also displays the ambient temperature in Celsius (°C) or Fahrenheit (°F). The temperature measuring range is 0°C to +40°C (32°F to 104°F).
