4. Configuració

4.1. Connexions de maquinari

1. Connexió a l'ordinador: Use the provided USB 3.0 cable to connect the UR22C to a USB 3.0 port on your computer. The device will be bus-powered. If using a USB 2.0 port, an optional 5V DC power adapter (not included) may be required for stable operation.

For condenser microphones, activate the +48V phantom power switch located on the rear panel. For guitars or basses, connect to Input 2 and activate the HI-Z switch on the front panel.
3. Connect Monitors/Headphones: Connect your studio monitors to the MAIN OUTPUT (L/R) jacks on the rear panel. Plug your headphones into the PHONES jack on the front panel.

4.2. Instal·lació de programari

1. Descarrega els controladors: Visit the official Steinberg website and navigate to the UR22C product page. Download the latest Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver for your operating system (Windows or macOS).

5. Operating the UR22C

5.1. Input Gain Adjustment

Each input (1 and 2) has a dedicated GAIN knob. Adjust these knobs to set the input level for your microphone or instrument. The PEAK indicator LED will light up if the input signal is too high, indicating potential clipping. Reduce the gain until the PEAK LED no longer illuminates.

5.2. Direct Monitoring

The UR22C features a hardware-based direct monitoring function to eliminate latency during recording. Use the MIX knob to blend between the direct input signal (INPUT) and the playback signal from your DAW (DAW). The MONO button sums the stereo input to mono, useful for monitoring a single microphone through both headphone channels.

5.3. Sortida d'auriculars

The PHONES knob controls the volume of the headphone output. Adjust this to a comfortable listening level. The main OUTPUT knob controls the volume for your studio monitors.

5.4. MIDI I/O

Connect your MIDI keyboard or controller to the MIDI IN port and your MIDI sound module or other MIDI device to the MIDI OUT port. Ensure your DAW is configured to recognize the UR22C's MIDI ports for sending and receiving MIDI data.
