1. Introducció

5. Configuració i primer ús

1. Desembalar: Traieu amb cura tots els components de l'embalatge.
2. Neteja: Wash the water tank, milk reservoir, portafilters, and filters with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
3. Omplir el dipòsit d'aigua: Fill the water tank with fresh, cold water up to the MAX line. Ensure the tank is properly seated.
4. Encès: Plug the machine into a grounded electrical outlet. Press the power button located on the side of the machine. The indicator lights on the control panel will illuminate.
5. Prime the System (First Use Only): Before making coffee, it is essential to prime the pump. Place a large cup under the brewing head. Press the Espresso button once. Allow water to flow through until the pump stops. Repeat this process for the milk frother by filling the milk reservoir with water and pressing the Latte button. This purges air from the system.

The Oster PrimaLatte offers automated preparation for various coffee beverages. Refer to the video below for a visual guide on preparing espresso.

6.1. Preparing Espresso (Ground Coffee)

1. Assegureu-vos que el dipòsit d'aigua estigui ple.
2. Select the appropriate filter (single or double shot) and place it into the ground coffee portafilter.
3. Fill the filter with finely ground espresso coffee. Use the measuring spoon and tamper to compact the coffee evenly.
4. Attach the portafilter to the brewing head by inserting it and rotating it gently to the right until it locks securely.
5. Place your cup(s) on the adjustable tray. For smaller cups, remove the lower drip tray.
6. Premeu el botó Espresso button once for a single shot or twice for a double shot. The machine will automatically brew the espresso.
7. To customize the espresso volume, press and hold the Espresso button for 3 seconds. Release the button when the desired volume is reached. Press the button again to save the setting.

6.2. Preparing Cappuccino or Latte

2. Fill the removable milk reservoir with cold milk (dairy or non-dairy) up to the desired level. Ensure the milk frothing tube is properly inserted into the reservoir.
3. Adjust the milk froth intensity knob on the milk reservoir lid to your preference.
4. Place your cup under both the brewing head and the milk frothing nozzle.
5. Premeu el botó Cappuccino button for a cappuccino or the Llet amb llet button for a latte. The machine will automatically brew the espresso and froth/dispense milk into your cup.
6. To customize the milk volume, press and hold the respective beverage button (Cappuccino or Latte) for 3 seconds. Release the button when the desired milk volume is reached. Press the button again to save the setting.

6.3. Using Dolce Gusto* Capsules

1. Assegureu-vos que el dipòsit d'aigua estigui ple.
2. Insert a Dolce Gusto* capsule into the dedicated capsule portafilter.
3. Attach the capsule portafilter to the brewing head.
4. Place your cup on the adjustable tray.
5. Premeu el botó Espresso button to brew. Note that milk-based capsule drinks will require manual milk frothing if desired, as the machine's milk system is designed for fresh milk.

7. Neteja i Manteniment

7.1. Neteja diària

• Dipòsit de llet: After each use, remove the milk reservoir and empty any remaining milk. Wash with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly. The milk frothing tube should also be cleaned.
• Portafiltres i filtres: Remove the portafilter and discard used coffee grounds. Wash the portafilter and filter baskets with warm, soapy water.
• Safata de degoteig: Empty and clean the drip tray and grid.
