Configuració
Before your first flight, ensure proper setup of your Blade Nano S3 helicopter and compatible transmitter.
1. Transmitter Configuration and Binding
The Nano S3 requires a compatible Spektrum™ 2.4GHz DSMX® transmitter. Refer to your transmitter's manual for specific binding instructions. Ensure the correct model type (e.g., helicopter) and channel assignments are set. Some users have noted that for DX8 G2 transmitters, setting the DSM to 22ms instead of the auto-selected 11ms might be necessary for full functionality of all flight modes. Also, holding the rudder full right before turning on the DX8 G2 to bind can help ensure all flight modes (0, 1, and 2) work correctly.
2. Battery Installation and Initial Power-Up
Carefully connect a fully charged battery to the helicopter. When powering on, place the helicopter on a level surface and avoid moving it until the gyro stabilization is complete. This ensures proper calibration for stable flight. Do not hold the helicopter in your hand during initial power-up and stabilization.
3. Comprovació prèvia al vol
- Verify all control surfaces respond correctly to transmitter inputs (cyclic, collective, rudder).
- Check for any loose parts or damage to the rotor blades, landing gear, or canopy.
- Ensure the battery is securely fastened and will not shift during flight.

Operating Your Nano S3
The Blade Nano S3 incorporates advanced flight technologies to enhance your flying experience.
Tecnologia SEGURA
The exclusive SAFE (Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope) technology provides multiple flight modes, making it easier for beginners to learn and offering advanced capabilities for experienced pilots.
- Stability Mode: Ideal for beginners, this mode limits pitch and roll angles and self-levels the helicopter, providing a stable and predictable flight experience.
- Agility Mode: Offers more control authority and allows for greater maneuverability, suitable for intermediate pilots.
- Mode 3D: Unlocks full collective pitch control and allows for advanced aerobatics and inverted flight, designed for experienced pilots.

Consells de vol
- Start in Stability Mode and practice hovering and basic directional control before attempting more advanced maneuvers.
- Always fly in an open area, away from people, obstacles, and strong winds. The Nano S3 is a micro helicopter and is susceptible to wind.
- Monitor de vol de la bateriatage if your transmitter supports telemetry. This helps prolong battery life and prevents unexpected power loss during flight.
- For smoother control, some users recommend setting servo travel to 80% to reduce over-sensitivity, especially for beginners.

Manteniment
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Nano S3.
- Inspecció posterior al vol: After each flight, check for any visible damage, especially to the rotor blades, tail boom, and landing gear. Replace damaged parts immediately.
- Motor Longevity: The brushed motor has a finite lifespan. If you notice a significant decrease in power or inconsistent performance, the motor may need replacement.
- Cura de la bateria: Always store LiPo batteries at a storage voltage (around 3.8V per cell) if not using them for an extended period. Avoid overcharging or fully discharging batteries. Use a proper LiPo charger; avoid generic USB chargers that may overcharge.
- Neteja: Keep the helicopter clean from dust and debris, especially around moving parts and electronics. Use a soft brush or compressed air.
