The ZKTeco LX15 is a standalone biometric fingerprint attendance device designed for efficient time management in small offices and retail environments. It features a 2.8-inch TFT display for user-friendly operation and supports data download via USB without requiring complex network configurations or monthly fees.

2. Guia de configuració

2.1 Desembalatge i inspecció inicial

Carefully remove the LX15 device from its packaging. Verify that all components are present and undamaged. The package should include the LX15 device, a power adapter, and a user manual.

2.2 Connexió d'alimentació

1. Connect the provided 5V power adapter to the device's power supply port.
2. Connecteu l'adaptador a una presa de corrent estàndard.

2.3 Inscripció d'usuaris

Before employees can record attendance, their fingerprints or passwords must be enrolled into the device. The LX15 supports up to 500 users and 500 fingerprints.

To Enroll a Fingerprint:

1. Premeu el botó MENU/M/OK botó per accedir al menú principal.
2. Navega a Gestió d'usuaris > Usuari nou.
3. Enter a User ID.
4. Seleccioneu Matricular FP (Fingerprint).
5. Place the user's finger on the fingerprint sensor three times, lifting it slightly between each scan, until enrollment is successful.
6. Repetiu el procés per a més dits o usuaris.

To Enroll a Password:

1. Follow steps 1-3 above to create a new user.
2. Seleccioneu Inscriu PWD (Contrasenya).
3. Enter a 6-8 digit password and confirm it.

3. Funcionament

3.1 Recording Attendance

Employees can record their attendance using either their enrolled fingerprint or password.

Ús de l'empremta digital:

Place an enrolled finger firmly on the fingerprint sensor. The device will confirm successful verification with a visual and audible prompt.

Using Password:

Enter your User ID, then press the M/D'acord button. Enter your password, then press M/D'acord de nou. El dispositiu confirmarà la verificació correcta.

3.2 Data Download

The LX15 features an in-built SSR (Self-Service-Recorder) function, allowing you to download attendance reports directly to a USB flash drive without needing additional software.

To Download Data via USB:

1. Insert a USB flash drive (formatted to FAT32, 8GB recommended) into the device's USB port.

4. Select the desired report type (e.g., Attendance Log) and date range.
5. Confirm the download. The device will save the report in Excel format to the USB drive.

4. Manteniment

4.1 Atenció general

• Mantingueu el dispositiu net i lliure de pols. Feu servir un drap suau i sec per netejar-lo.
• Avoid exposing the device to direct sunlight, high temperatures, or excessive moisture.
• No utilitzeu netejadors abrasius ni dissolvents al dispositiu.

4.2 Data Protection and Backup

The LX15 includes a power-off data protection feature, ensuring that attendance records are retained even if power is lost. However, regular data backup to a USB drive is recommended to prevent any unforeseen data loss.

4.3 Fingerprint Sensor Cleaning

If fingerprint recognition accuracy decreases, gently clean the fingerprint sensor surface with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid using liquids directly on the sensor.

5. Solució De Problemes

5.1 El dispositiu no s'encén

• Assegureu-vos que l'adaptador de corrent estigui connectat correctament tant al dispositiu com a una presa de corrent que funcioni.
• Verify that the power outlet is supplying power. Try plugging in another device.

5.2 Fingerprint Recognition Failure

• Assegureu-vos que el dit estigui net i sec.
• Col·loca el dit fermament i completament sobre el sensor.
• Try enrolling the fingerprint again if issues persist.
• Clean the fingerprint sensor surface as described in Section 4.3.

5.3 USB Data Download Issues

• Ensure the USB flash drive is formatted to FAT32.
• Check that the USB drive is properly inserted into the device's USB port.
• Try using a different USB flash drive (8GB recommended).
• Ensure there is sufficient space on the USB drive.

5.4 Hora/data incorrecta

• Access the device menu and navigate to Configuració del sistema > Data/Hora per ajustar-se.

7. Informació del programari

The ZKTeco LX15 comes with complimentary desktop-based software, ZKTime.Net 3.0, to enhance data management and reporting capabilities. This software allows for more advanced analysis of attendance data.
