5. Compatibilitat

The IMAYCC bike engine kit is suitable for most 26-28 inch wheeled bicycles, including mountain bikes, cruisers, and road bikes, provided they have a V-frame. A minimum of 10 inches of clearance between the bottom bracket and the top bar of the frame is required for proper fitment, especially for 26-inch bikes. Please confirm the installation space on your bicycle before proceeding.

6.1. Motor apagatview

6.2. Sprocket Installation

Install the 44-tooth drive sprocket onto the rear wheel. Ensure the sprocket clamp assembly is properly aligned and secured. The kit includes a rubber gasket and metal plates for secure mounting.

6.3. Engine Mounting

Mount the engine securely within the bicycle's V-frame using the provided brackets and hardware. Ensure there is adequate clearance for all moving parts and cables.

Install the 415 bike engine drive chain, connecting the engine's drive gear to the rear sprocket. Adjust the chain tension using the idler pulley. You may need a chain breaker (not included) to adjust the chain length.

6.5. Fuel Tank and Fuel Line Setup

Mount the 2.5L teardrop fuel tank on the top bar of the bicycle. Connect the fuel line from the tank, through the fuel filter, to the carburetor. Ensure all connections are secure and leak-free. The fuel tank switch controls fuel flow.

6.6. Throttle and Clutch Installation

Install the twist throttle and grip on the right handlebar and the locking alloy clutch lever on the left. Route the throttle and clutch cables to their respective connections on the carburetor and engine. Ensure smooth operation and proper return of the throttle.

6.7. Connexions de cablejat

Connect the CDI unit and kill switch wiring according to the diagram. The blue wire connects to blue, and the black wire connects to black. The white wire from the magnetic coil is not used and should be insulated with electrical tape.

6.8. Muffler and Chain Guard

Attach the chrome muffler to the engine's exhaust port. Install the drive chain guard to protect the chain and prevent clothing from getting caught.

Install the wired digital computer on the handlebars for monitoring speed and other metrics.

7. Instruccions de funcionament

7.1. Mescla de combustible

The engine requires a specific fuel-to-oil mixture. Use 90# gasoline. For new equipment, the mixing ratio of fuel and engine oil is 16:1. After the run-in period (approximately 500km), the ratio should be 20:1. Mix thoroughly before adding to the tank.

7.2. Arrencada del motor

1. Ensure the fuel valve is open (DOWN=ON).
2. If the engine is cold, engage the choke.
3. Pedal the bicycle to gain some speed.
4. Release the clutch lever smoothly. The engine should engage and start.
5. Once the engine starts and warms up, disengage the choke.

Control speed using the twist throttle. The engine is designed for speeds of 20-25 Km/h on smooth roads. Always maintain control and be aware of your surroundings.
