4. Configuració

Before beginning the setup process, ensure that your NVR and any Wi-Fi cameras are Fusion compatible and that your NVR firmware is up to date. You will need up to two dedicated channels on your NVR for Wi-Fi cameras.

4.1. Initial NVR Setup and Firmware Update

If you have not already done so, set up your NVR and update it to the latest firmware. This ensures compatibility and access to the newest features.

4.2. Connecting Wi-Fi Cameras to the Lorex Home App

1. Open the Lorex Home app on your mobile device. Log in or sign up for an account.

4.3. Connecting Wi-Fi Cameras to the NVR

3. Click "Device Search." The Wi-Fi cameras previously added to the Lorex Home app should appear in the "Device Search" section.
4. Click the checkbox next to each Wi-Fi camera you wish to add. Ensure the camera is powered on and on the same network as the NVR.
5. Click "Add." The cameras should now appear in the "Added Device" section.
6. Click the pencil icon (✎) under "Edit" for each camera to enter its device password (the one you created in step 4.2).
7. After entering the password, click "Connect," then "OK." The corresponding status indicator should turn green, confirming a successful connection.
8. Repeat for all Wi-Fi cameras.

4.4. Connecting NVR to the Lorex Home App

The process for adding your NVR to the Lorex Home app is similar to adding a Wi-Fi camera. Follow the in-app instructions to scan the NVR's QR code or manually enter its device ID, and then create a secure password for the NVR.

4.5. Disabling Duplicate Notifications

Once your Wi-Fi cameras are connected to both the Lorex Home app individually and through the NVR, you may receive duplicate notifications. To prevent this, it is recommended to disable notifications for the individual camera entries in the app:

1. From the "Devices" screen in the Lorex Home app, locate the individual Wi-Fi camera entry (not the one connected via NVR).
2. Tap the three-dot icon (...) at the top right of the camera's preview to access "Device Settings."
3. Tap "Notifications."
4. Toggle the notification icon to disable notifications for that specific camera.
5. Repeat for all individual Wi-Fi camera entries.
