1. Introducció

4. Configuració

4.2 Blade Installation and Changing

The AdvancedShear 18V-10 features a multi-click system for quick and easy blade changes.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

5.1 Funcionament general

To start the tool, press and hold the safety lock-off button, then press the ON/OFF switch. Release the safety lock-off button once the tool is running. To stop, release the ON/OFF switch.

5.2 Grass Shearing

Attach the grass shear blade for trimming lawn edges or small grass areas. Hold the tool firmly and guide it along the desired cutting line. Maintain a steady pace for an even cut.

5.3 Hedge Trimming

Attach the hedge trimmer blade for shaping and maintaining small bushes and hedges. Move the tool smoothly across the foliage, ensuring not to overload the blades. The tool is designed for single-handed use, offering ergonomic handling for shaping and trimming young hedges, shrubs, or grass.

5.4 Anti-Blocking System

The Bosch Anti-Blocking System prevents the blades from jamming when cutting thicker branches. If a branch is too thick, the system will momentarily reverse the blade direction to free it, allowing for continuous cutting without interruptions. Do not force the tool if it repeatedly jams; consider using a more powerful tool for very thick branches.

6. Manteniment

6.1 Neteja

After each use, ensure the battery is removed and clean the tool. Use a soft brush or cloth to remove debris from the blades and housing. Do not use water or harsh cleaning agents. For stubborn resin or sap, use a blade cleaning spray specifically designed for garden tools.
