4. Configuració

4.1 Mounting the Timer Unit

The timer unit should be mounted in a vertical position to ensure proper drainage and prevent water accumulation. It is recommended to mount it at least 2 feet (0.6 meters) above the ground level.

• Locate the mounting hole on the top of the timer unit.
• Fix a screw (not included) into a suitable surface (e.g., wall, post) at the desired height.
• Hang the timer unit securely onto the screw, ensuring the outlets face downwards.

The Minetom Outdoor Lights Plug Timer offers multiple operating modes via its rotary dial and remote control.

5.1 Timer Dial Functions

Rotate the dial on the timer unit to select your desired mode:

• DESACTIVAT: The timer and connected devices are completely off.
• ACTIVITAT: The timer and connected devices are continuously on, regardless of light conditions.
• CAPVESPRE-ALBA: The photocell sensor will automatically turn on connected devices at dusk and turn them off at dawn.
• 2H / 4H / 6H / 8H (Photocell Countdown): The photocell sensor will turn on connected devices at dusk and automatically turn them off after the selected duration (2, 4, 6, or 8 hours).

5.2 Funcionament del control remot

The wireless remote control allows you to manually turn the connected devices ON or OFF, or override the timer settings.

• Botó ON: Press to turn connected devices on.
• Botó OFF: Press to turn connected devices off.
• Timer Buttons (2H, 4H, 6H, 8H, Dusk, Dawn): These buttons on the remote can also be used to select the corresponding timer modes, overriding the dial setting if the unit is set to 'ON' or a countdown mode.

The remote control has a range of up to 100 feet and can transmit signals through walls and doors.

6. Manteniment

• Regularly inspect the timer and its connections for any signs of damage or wear.
• Keep the photocell sensor clean and free from obstructions (e.g., dirt, leaves) to ensure accurate dusk-to-dawn detection.
