2. Applicable Models and Installation

2.1 Vehicles compatibles

This headunit is compatible with 1998-2006 BMW 3 Series E46 and 2000-2006 BMW M3 models. Please verify your vehicle's compatibility before installation.

2.2 Power Cable Connector Identification

Before installation, identify your car's power cable connector in the center console. There are three main types:

1. 17-pin or 40-pin connector: If your vehicle has either of these, the unit can be installed directly.
2. 17-pin connector with 4 empty pins (as shown in Picture 2 of the image): This configuration is not suitable for direct installation.
3. Blue & white connector: If your vehicle has this, check for a 17-pin or 40-pin connector in the trunk. An Eonon A0590 extension harness (not included) may be required for installation.

2.3 AC Relocation

If your car's air conditioning control panel is located in the upper position, it will need to be removed and reinstalled in the lower position to accommodate the headunit. Refer to the provided image for visual guidance.

3.1 Android 13 System

The headunit operates on Android 13, offering enhanced security, smoother performance, and an updated user interface. It features an 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor (11nm process), 6GB RAM, and 64GB ROM for efficient multitasking and storage.
