Instal·lació de la bateria

The GPSMAP 79s requires two AA batteries (not included). For optimal performance and battery life, use high-quality alkaline or NiMH rechargeable batteries. Lithium-ion batteries are not recommended due to potential voltage inconsistencies that could damage the device.

Encès i configuració inicial

Waypoints, rutes i pistes

  • Waypoints: Premeu MARC to save your current location. You can edit waypoint names and symbols. The device can store up to 10,000 waypoints.
  • Rutes: Create routes by combining multiple waypoints. The device supports up to 250 routes.
  • Pistes: The device automatically records your path as a track. You can save tracks and navigate back along them. It can store up to 300 fit activities (tracks).

Satellite Constellations

The GPSMAP 79s supports multiple global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) including GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo, QZSS, and SBAS. This multi-constellation support enhances tracking reliability and accuracy worldwide, especially in challenging environments.

Sensors integrats

  • 3-Axis Tilt-Compensated Electronic Compass: Provides accurate heading information even when the device is not held level or when standing still.
  • Altímetre baromètric: Tracks changes in pressure to provide precise altitude readings and can be used to plot barometric pressure over time, aiding in weather trend analysis.

Manteniment

Neteja del dispositiu

Resolució de problemes
